A strong Party from the roots

ĐBP - Being pioneers and role models in various movements, actively collaborating with party committees and authorities to build stable and developing villages, these are the stories of many exemplary party cell secretaries across the province.

Through their prestige, responsibility, and dedication, they have become the “nuclei” of leadership in residential areas and the “bridge” between the Party and the people, contributing to building clean and strong grassroots party organizations.

Returning from the national ceremony honoring outstanding party cell secretaries on February 3, 2026, Mùa A Lầu, Secretary of the Hua Sa B village Party Cell in Quài Tở commune, remains deeply moved. For him, this is a distinct honor and a recognition of the collective efforts of the entire party cell throughout its development. Having grown up in an ethnic minority area, he understands the hardships and concerns of the people. In his leadership role, he always prioritizes being a role model as his guiding principle and uses work efficiency as his yardstick. He believes that since the party cell is where policies are brought to the people, a member must lead the way to earn trust and consensus. Under his guidance, Hua Sa B village has seen its appearance flourish as the material and spiritual lives of the residents steadily improve.

In Việt Thanh 4 village of Thanh Nưa commune, Đinh Văn Hoàn is highly regarded by residents for his ability to unite the community toward growth. He notes that the significant improvements in village life recently are due to the party cell’s contribution and the exemplary spirit of each member. Walking through lush green water celery fields, he explains that this was once low-yield, single-crop rice land. The party cell researched and decided to mobilize the people to switch to water celery.

The economic development model of Party Cell Secretary Đinh Văn Hoàn is studied and followed by many residents of Việt Thanh 4 village.

To prove its viability, Đinh Văn Hoàn and other party members did it first. His own family converted thousands of square meters to vegetable crops. Seeing the success of their leaders, over 50 out of nearly 70 households in the village followed suit, creating stable incomes. This momentum expanded into aquaculture, and the village now boasts nearly 7ha of water surface for fish farming with over 15 participating households.

In Tà Lèng village, Lò Văn Mấng has earned the people’s trust through his passion and heartfelt dedication. Born in 1967 and belonging to the Khơ Mú ethnic group, he has served in various roles from the Farmers’ Association to village head. Regardless of the position, he maintains a close connection with the residents to understand their aspirations and reflect them to higher authorities. Previously, the village faced many difficulties relying only on rice, corn, and cassava.

To create a path out of poverty, he boldly borrowed capital to develop an integrated economic model. Today, his family manages over 1ha of fish ponds, 2ha of forest, 1ha of guava, and over 1,000 ornamental peach trees, bringing in an annual income of VND 100 to VND 130 million. This successful model has encouraged many others in the village to learn and replicate it, stimulating the local economy.

A strong Party is made of good party cells, and good cells are made of good members. The reality in Điện Biên shows that strength starts from the foundation, from the responsibility of leaders like Mùa A Lầu, Đinh Văn Hoàn, and Lò Văn Mấng. These exemplary people have built a solid foundation for the province’s continued development and innovation.
