At the conference, Associate Professor, PhD Phan Đình Tuấn, from the Institute for Circular Economy Development, presented the fundamental concepts of the green economy and green growth strategy, including the origins, concepts, and characteristics of a green economy, as well as its principles and roles. He emphasized that the green economy is a harmonious combination of three factors: economic, social, and environmental, aimed at sustainable development, reducing emissions, protecting natural resources, and adapting to climate change.
