According to the plan, the leg Hồ Chí Minh City - Điện Biên bears flight number VN1160, taking off at 9:35 and expected to land at 11:55 using A321 aircraft. The leg Điện Biên - Hà Nội, flight number VN7805, departs at 12:30, expected to arrive in Hà Nội at 13:25, also operated using A321 aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines stated that the plan is implemented based on the working session with Điện Biên province on November 7, aiming to research opening new inter-regional air routes, increasing air traffic connectivity, and promoting local socio-economic development.

The enterprise expects to receive the coordination of the People’s Committee of Điện Biên province in communication, promotion, and support to implement the plan to departments, branches, and passengers. At the same time, the airline requested the locality to continue creating conditions regarding policy mechanisms to maintain stable flight operations to Điện Biên.

Vietnam Airlines also hopes to receive additional support regarding infrastructure, premises, and coordination with relevant units to ensure fuel supply, serving safe and effective operations, contributing to the economic, tourism, and trade growth of the province. Simultaneously, creating favorable conditions for the airline to maintain a long-term operation plan.
