Based on the assessment of initial effectiveness, the Party committee and authorities of the commune determined that the planting of cherry blossom trees needs to be implemented in a direction of focused expansion, with a specific roadmap, ensuring suitability with natural conditions, landscape, and general development orientation.

According to the plan for the 2026 - 2030 period, Mường Phăng commune strives to plant about 50,000 cherry blossom trees, forming concentrated planting routes and points in the central area of the commune, along main traffic axes, public spaces, residential areas, and schools. In 2026 alone, the locality aims to plant 10,000 trees, considering this an important starting step to gradually multiply the beauty of this characteristic flower.

Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Mường Phăng commune, Nguyễn Trần Khánh, said that recently, the commune organized the Launching Ceremony of cherry blossom tree planting in 2026 - an activity within the framework of the Cherry Blossom Festival - Mường Phăng commune in 2026. Accordingly, in this first phase, the commune organized the planting of 590 trees at the Mường Phăng Victory Celebration Park, along National Highway 279B, in Kéo, Che Căn villages, and at a number of schools in the area.
