Organised by the Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of both provinces, the three-day exhibition is part of the commemorative activities for the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024).
Featuring over 300 remarkable photos, documents, and artifacts, the exhibition portrays the profound history, culture, and revolutionary spirit of Bắc Ninh's land and people.
Visitors gain insights into Bắc Ninh's landscape, its significant contributions to the resistance war against French colonialists, and its vibrant culture and development during the renewal period.
With authentic materials spanning historical epochs, the exhibition vividly illustrates the collective efforts, support, and heroic deeds of the army and people of Bắc Ninh Province during the resistance, notably in the Điện Biên Phủ Campaign.
Offering a genuine glimpse into Việt Nam's illustrious history, particularly the pinnacle moment of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory, the exhibition also pays tribute to the remarkable individuals from Bắc Ninh Province.
Attendees also immerse themselves in Bắc Ninh's distinctive culture through unique activities such as 'Quan họ' singing performances, crafting phoenix wing-shaped betel quids, and experiencing Đông Hồ folk painting printing.
The event serves as a platform to foster understanding, promote cooperation, and facilitate cultural exchange between the two provinces.
The exhibition will remain open until April 12.
