Speaking at the programme, Nguyễn Thọ Truyền, Deputy Head of the Hồ Chí Minh City Party Committee's Commission for Publicity and Education, emphasised:

“This is an opportunity for the city's artists to deeply reflect on the heroic and resilient examples of revolutionary soldiers and the immense sacrifices of previous generations that have brought about today’s independence and peace. Through this journey, we hope the city’s artists will gain new inspiration and material to continue creating and performing works of high historical and traditional value, particularly in the lead-up to the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

This is also a chance for young artists to better understand the value of peace, independence, and freedom, fostering patriotism, a sense of responsibility, and a determination to protect the sovereignty of their homeland. It contributes to spreading the positive traditional values of the Vietnamese nation, encouraging and motivating people from all walks of life to unite and work alongside the Party and the State to lead the country into an era of progress, for the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the nation.”
