ĐBP - As part of a working visit to the Russian Federation, on 2nd December, a delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trần Quốc Cường, held discussions with the Brest Regional Executive Committee in the Republic of Belarus.

ĐBP – Chairman of the Điện Biên Provincial People's Committee, Lê Thành Đô, expressed his hope that the World University Service (WUS) and the Hesse Office in Việt Nam would continue to serve as a bridge connecting Điện Biên Province with German enterprises to foster cooperation in fields of mutual interest.

ĐBP - As part of an official visit to the Russian Federation, a delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Provincial Party Secretary Trần Quốc Cường, has signed a cooperation agreement encompassing trade and economic collaboration, scientific and technical exchange, as well as social and cultural partnership. ĐBP – Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, on Saturday called on the French Embassy in Việt Nam to facilitate connections with French businesses and investors to explore and implement investment and cooperation projects in the fields of culture and tourism in Điện Biên Province.

ĐBP – In celebration of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher's Day (20 November 1982 – 20 November 2024), Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, participated in a seminar titled The Role of Lecturers in Building a Standardised Political Academy at the Provincial Political Academy on Wednesday.

ĐBP – On 19 November, as part of their visit to France, a delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Lê Thành Đô, visited the Caen Memorial Museum. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the museum’s director, Mr. M. Kléber Arhoul, alongside representatives from Caen’s city administration and the French Development Agency (AFD).

ĐBP - The Deputy Chairman of the Điện Biên Province People’s Committee, Vừ A Bằng, has called on Nậm Pồ District to focus on socio-economic development and accelerate the disbursement of public investment during a meeting on 19 November.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 12, a delegation from the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, along with representatives of sponsors (T&T Group and Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank SHB), visited and worked with the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Mường Pồn Commune (Điện Biên District) to discuss the progress of building homes for 20 households affected by flash floods.

ĐBP — On the morning of 12th November, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a ceremony to mark its 50th founding anniversary (12th November 1974 – 12th November 2024). Attendees included Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; as well as former provincial leaders and past leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

ĐBP — On 12th November, the People’s Committee of Điện Biên Province held its first monthly session, chaired by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Committee Chairman, Lê Thành Đô.

ĐBP — Xạ Phang is one of 19 ethnic groups in Điện Biên, residing in the high mountain regions. Through the years of development and settlement, Xạ Phang people still managed to preserve many unique cultural traditions and customs. One of these is the Livestock New Year holiday – a holiday that symbolises the close bond between people and their animals, highlighting the importance of draft animals in the agricultural life of Xạ Phang people.
