ĐBP - In a solemn atmosphere, officers, soldiers, and people of all ethnic groups gathered to respectfully hold a memorial and burial ceremony for the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who fell in Laos. The ceremony took place at the Tông Khao National Martyrs’ Cemetery.

ĐBP - Administrative discipline, civil service ethics, and public servant conduct are key elements in building a clean and efficient government. ĐBP - On the solemn occasion of the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Hồ Chí Minh, youths of Điện Biên provincewere filled with joy as four exemplary individuals from the province were honored at the 8th National Congress of Outstanding Youths Following President Hồ Chí Minh’s teachings. These individuals are shining examples not only because of their outstanding achievements but also because of their pioneering spirit, enthusiasm, and silent dedication, ready to contribute their youthful energy to building the homeland and the country with their hearts and aspirations.

ĐBP - In preparation for the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, leading up to the 15th Điện Biên provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, the Farmers’ Association of Điện Biên Phủ city has implemented a wide range of practical and comprehensive dissemination activities to raise awareness among all members. This aims to create unity in understanding and action, as well as foster a spirited emulation movement to welcome the congresses.

ĐBP - On April 27, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee issued Project No.19-DA/TU to conclude the operations of party organizations at the district, town, and city levels, and establish commune- and ward-level party organizations directly under the provincial Party Committee.

ĐBP - In a meaningful effort to celebrate the upcoming Party congresses at all levels for the 2025- 2030 term, the Điện Biên provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched an emulation movement among its entire workforce, including officials, civil servants, and employees. The campaign aims to foster a vibrant atmosphere of competition and engagement, encouraging staff to achieve the set goals and tasks.

ĐBP - The task of reorganizing and streamlining the political system’s organizational apparatus and abolishing the district level to establish a two-tier local government is a critical political mission.

ĐBP - Nationwide, the restructuring and streamlining of the political system and the elimination of district-level administrations to establish a two-tier local government are being carried out rigorously, with the motto “Only talk about doing, not about retreating.” The implementation of this policy involves many changes and updates to regulations, especially amendments to the Constitution.

ĐBP - After more than 2 months since its establishment, the Điện Biên provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs has stabilized its operations according to its functions and duties; aiming to build an efficient, effective, and functional apparatus, contributing to the good and practical implementation of ethnic and religious policies in the locality.

ĐBP - In recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) committees at all levels in Điện Biên province, along with their member organizations, have prioritized public outreach, mobilization, and unity-building across social strata. These efforts have helped promote grassroots democracy and foster public consensus in implementing the Party’s guidelines and local development goals.

ĐBP - On May 19, in Saint Petersburg (Russian), the city government of Saint Petersburg coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia to hold a seminar commemorating the 135th birth anniversary of President Hồ Chí Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2025).

ĐBP - In recent years, Điện Biên province has actively promoted the movement to study and follow President Hồ Chí Minh’s ideology, ethics, and lifestyle through practical and concrete actions. The campaign has delivered positive results and had a broad impact across society. Notably, more and more exemplary models and initiatives have emerged, contributing to socio-economic development and to building a clean, strong Party and political system.

ĐBP - Telling stories about President Hồ Chí Minh is an activity that many schools in the province have been organizing enthusiastically, attracting active participation from children. Through stories about the life and career of the beloved leader, the children have shown their love and admiration for the great leader of the nation.

ĐBP - In the homes of the ethnic people across the villages and border areas of Điện Biên, despite many hardships and shortages, a portrait of President Hồ Chí Minh is always hung in the most respectful positions. For many families, hanging a picture of Uncle Hồ is not only a way to express gratitude and remember him, but also serves as a reminder to continuously learn from his example, striving to improve their lives.

ĐBP - In preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the education and training sector of Điện Biên province is actively implementing many vibrant and practical emulation movements. These activities not only create a joyful atmosphere across the sector but also contribute to improving educational quality and building a positive, disciplined, and friendly learning environment.

ĐBP - Currently, the rearrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units across the province are being carried out according to the planned roadmap. From determining restructuring plans to solving staffing issues, all levels and sectors are working systematically and scientifically, with the highest level of political determination.

ĐBP - Following the directives and guidance from the Party, Điện Biên province is resolutely implementing the restructuring and streamlining of the organizational structure of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, political-social organizations, and mass organizations. The goal is to ensure a leaner organizational structure that aligns with the local context and characteristics.

ĐBP - The Party Committee of the Điện Biên provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism consists of 10 affiliated Party cells with over 220 Party members. Actively preparing for the 5th Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee has focused on directing the successful organization of the affiliated Party cell congresses, ensuring careful preparation of documents and personnel, strengthening communication efforts, and securing all necessary conditions for the upcoming congress.
