ĐBP - In the years 2024 and 2025, our country jubilantly celebrates significant historical milestones: the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024) and the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Vietnam (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

ĐBP - Working at the Department of Ethnic Radio and Television under the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper for over 20 years, I have always been with the people, listening to and reflecting their lives and thoughts in the highlands. As a member of the Hmong ethnic group, I consider it an honor to work in journalism and broadcasting in my native language.

ĐBP - In step with the evolution of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam, Điện Biên’s local press has steadily grown, asserting its vital role in the province’s political and social life. Facing both opportunities and challenges in the digital age, journalists in Điện Biên are proactively embracing innovation to meet rising demands from readers and to contribute meaningfully to the province’s development.

ĐBP - This is the directive of the Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, Trần Quốc Cường, at the meeting of the provincial Steering Committee to build the Project for the arrangement and reorganization of the two-level administrative units in the province, which took place on the morning of June 19.

With a high level of determination, a spirit of innovation, and solidarity, this emulation movement has spread widely, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services and laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the province.

ĐBP - Our Party views the press as a sharp weapon in the ideological battle, a bridge between the Party, the State, and the people. In today’s context, where the fight in cyberspace has become increasingly intense and the spread of misinformation and hostile views is rampant, revolutionary journalism must assert its role as a leader of public opinion and safeguard the “ideological front” of the Party.

ĐBP - Along with the development of the press sector nationwide, journalism in Điện Biên province and local journalists have made rapid progress.

ĐBP - On June 13, the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions regarding the organizational structure and personnel affairs of the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper.

ĐBP - The name of the Điện Biên Radio and Television is soon to be a thing of the past, as per the plan for restructuring and streamlining the organizational apparatus. The station will merge with Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper to form a new entity named Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper.

Each person holding a pen constantly hones their will, strengthens political beliefs, remains absolutely loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people, and lives and works responsibly with themselves and society.

ĐBP - Following the plan for organizing Party congresses at all levels, the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee has focused on guiding subordinate party cells to prepare and successfully hold their congresses. To date, the progress of grassroots party congresses has been carried out on time as planned.

ĐBP - The 15th Điện Biên provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is fast approaching, drawing keen interest from Party members, officials, and people of all ethnic groups across the province.

ĐBP - Accelerating digital transformation at the commune and village levels is the fastest and most effective way to bring practical benefits to the people. The main goal is to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate the leadership, management, and service operations of local authorities and agencies to the public and businesses, aiming to build a digital society. In recent years, the province has made significant strides in implementing this transformation, yielding positive results.

ĐBP - On June 6, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee held a meeting to discuss the plan for the rearrangement and handling of public assets, as well as the programs and projects during the restructuring of the two-tier local government model.
