ĐBP - On the morning of January 18, at May 7 Square in Điện Biên Phủ City, the Điện Biên provincial Journalists’ Association organized the opening ceremony of the 2025 Spring Press Festival.

ĐBP - On January 17, the Điện Biên Province’s Department of Information and Communications held a conference to review task performance in 2024 and roll out missions in 2025. Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, attended the event.

ĐBP - On the morning of January 15, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên Province’s Party Committee held a conference to review performance of the provincial Party agencies in 2024 and deploy key tasks for 2025.

ĐBP – On January 14, a delegation from the Malaysian Embassy in Vietnam, led by Ambassador Dato’ Tan Yang Thai, had a working session and paid courtesy visit to leader of the Điện Biên Provincial People’s Committee.

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-2025), the Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee held a meeting for Party members who received 60-year Party membership badges.

ĐBP - Alongside promoting democracy, representing and protecting legitimate rights and interests of the people, chapters and sub-chapters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) at all levels in Điện Biên Province have comprehensively implemented and improved the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, as well as contributing to building clean and strong Party organizations and governance.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of January 10, the People’s Committee of Điện Biên Province organized a conference to deploy the plan and discuss solutions for the implementation of local economic and social development, national defense and security, as well as the budget estimate for 2025.

ĐBP – On January 10, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên Province’s Party Committee, and leaders of the provincial Inspection Committee and Internal Affairs Committee, co-chaired a conference to review inspection, supervision, internal affairs, corruption and wastefulness prevention and control, and judicial reform work in 2024 and roll out tasks for 2025.

ĐBP - On January 8, the emulation bloc of the Điện Biên Province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations held a conference to review emulation and commendation activities in 2024 and to launch the emulation movement for this year.

ĐBP - The restructuring and streamlining of the political system’s organizational apparatus under the Resolution No.18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee is regarded as a “revolution” in personnel management.

ĐBP - Looking back at 2024, despite a mix of favorable conditions and considerable challenges, the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee and Party organizations at all levels maintained unity, exercised proactive and decisive leadership, and accurately assessed the situation. This approach allowed them to set focused, practical goals and priorities aligned with local realities. Thanks to these efforts, Điện Biên experienced notable and comprehensive achievements, paving the way for continued progress and confidence as the province enters 2025.

ĐBP – A delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Trần Quốc Cường, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, on December 27 departed for a visit to Pu'er City in Yunnan Province, China. The delegation includes provincial leaders, officials from Mường Nhé District, and representatives from various departments and agencies. The trip is scheduled to run from 27 to 30 December.

ĐBP – Lò Văn Phương, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Điện Biên Province, presided over the December session on Friday (December 27) to discuss several topics.

ĐBP – Leaders of Điện Biên Province and three northern provinces of Laos, including Phongsaly, Oudomxay, and Luang Prabang held talks on Wednesday (December 25).

ĐBP – A ceremony was held in Điện Biên Province on Wednesday (December 25) to present the Order of Friendship and the Medal of Friendship from the Lao People's Democratic Republic to collectives and individuals in Điện Biên Province who contributed to socio-economic development in Phongsaly Province up to 2019.

ĐBP – On the afternoon of December 24, the Provincial Party Committee convened a conference to review the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, issued on October 25, 2017, by the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Việt Nam. The resolution addresses renewing and restructuring the organisational apparatus of the political system to ensure streamlined, efficient, and effective operations.

ĐBP - Deputy Prime Minister Hồ Đức Phớc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Coordination Council for the Northern Midlands and Mountainous Areas, on Monday paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Martyrs' Memorial at the historic Điện Biên Phủ battlefield.
