The session focused on assessing socio-economic development, national defense, and security, while defining strategic tasks for the coming months.

Throughout the first quarter of 2026, Thanh Nưa commune experienced positive shifts across multiple sectors. Agricultural and forestry production remained stable, with a specific emphasis on developing high-quality rice zones, including 60 hectares of low-emission organic rice. The commune has also prioritized the expansion of coffee and macadamia plantations while strengthening forest management and fire prevention measures.

Notably, African Swine Fever has been effectively brought under control, allowing the livestock sector to stabilize. In terms of finance, total budget revenue for the quarter reached 33.71% of the assigned estimate. Administrative reforms, anti-corruption efforts, and the resolution of citizen petitions were also highlighted as areas of significant progress, all while maintaining firm control over border sovereignty and social order.

During the session, the commune leadership raised several petitions regarding planning, land management, site clearance, and internal affairs. In response, leaders of provincial departments and agencies provided direct clarifications and outlined key priorities for the commune. Local authorities were urged to expedite the implementation of zoning and detailed plans as soon as the general planning schemes are approved.

Additionally, there is a pressing need to stabilize construction material prices and proactively inspect traffic infrastructure to ensure safety during the upcoming rainy season. Restructuring the agricultural sector toward high-tech applications and fulfilling the criteria for New Rural Development remain top priorities for the commune’s sustainable growth.

Chairman Lê Văn Lương highly commended the notable results achieved by Thanh Nưa commune. He requested that the locality focus on finalizing its general plan and thoroughly review local potential to boost agricultural and forestry production value. He emphasized that the commune should vigorously promote trade and services, specifically by exploiting its tourism potential. Furthermore, the commune was encouraged to coordinate the implementation of non-budget investment projects in the tourism sector and to align its growth scenarios with the province’s overall targets for 2026.

The Chairman also stressed the importance of applying science, technology, and digital transformation in governance. Special attention must be paid to food safety, particularly within school kitchens, to protect the health of students. Finally, the commune was directed to continue enhancing the effectiveness of the two-tier local government model to better serve the community. Prior to the working session, the Chairman and the delegation conducted field inspections at three major projects: the Northwestern Urban, Tourism, and Sports Area; the Hoong Lếch Eco-resort Complex; and the Thanh Nưa Inter-level Boarding School.
