Over the years, in line with the nationwide movement, the tree planting, afforestation, and forest protection efforts of the provincial Border Guard Command have achieved significant results. Units and agencies under the command have taken proactive measures to create green, clean, and beautiful landscapes while working alongside local Party committees and authorities in border communes to plant, nurture, and protect forests. These efforts have contributed to forest conservation, biodiversity preservation, and mitigation of natural disasters.

Leaders of the Điện Biên Provincial Border Guard Command and Mường Chà District participate in the event.

To ensure a high survival rate and optimal growth of trees, units and agencies under the provincial Border Guard Command have carefully selected planting sites and tree species suitable for the local soil and climate, including bauhinia (hoa ban), cherry blossoms, timber trees, fruit trees, and shade trees. This approach aims to achieve the highest possible success in afforestation efforts.

Officers and soldiers from various border units take part in the festival.

Immediately following the launching ceremony, units and agencies under the provincial Border Guard Command planted trees within their premises.

Troops of the Sen Thượng Border Post respond to the festival.

This year, troops of the provincial Border Guard Command are expected to plant nearly 6,000 trees, including timber trees, fruit trees, bauhinia, cherry blossoms, and shade trees, in courtyards of their offices and units.
