This event will bring together local agencies, organizations, businesses, technology experts, teachers, students, and youth to experience the latest advancements in AI and digital technologies. It is part of the media campaign titled “Điện Biên Phủ Campaign - The AI Coverage Journey,” aimed at raising awareness, encouraging innovative thinking, and closing development gaps across localities.
AI Day will feature six main activities: Opening ceremony and launch of the “AI Coverage Journey” and “Digital Literacy Movement”; presentations of outstanding GenAI (generative AI) products by five top teachers; summary of the “New Generation AI Applications” training course; inauguration of the STEAM Hub Technology Library at the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School; interactive AI and tech product experiences at the STEAM for Vietnam exhibition booths; and media engagement activities to extend AI awareness and usage.

AI Day is not only a communication initiative but also marks a major milestone as Điện Biên becomes the first province nationwide to complete AI literacy training for 100% of its teachers.
Over the past period, Điện Biên has seriously implemented leadership documents from the central government to promote science, technology, and digital governance. All provincial departments are now connected via the government’s dedicated data transmission network, ensuring seamless online conferencing from province to commune level.
