ĐBP - On May 7, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions of the Secretariat regarding the designation of Phùng Mạnh Hùng, Chief Prosecutor of the provincial People’s Procuracy, and Senior Colonel Vương Đình Hòa, Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command, to participate in the Executive Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

This void of information, spanning several generations, leaves behind a lingering sorrow that has yet to find closure. Thus, “returning names to the martyrs” has become a profound responsibility, a command echoing from historical memory.

ĐBP - In the context of reforming the local political system and implementing the two-tier local government model, listening to the opinions of the people has become more practical than ever.

ĐBP - Along with grasping the operational reality and difficulties of the commune level when implementing the 2-tier local government model, Điện Biên province has proactively reinforced and seconded civil servants and public employees from departments and sectors to communes to ensure the quantity and quality of commune-level operations. After more than half a year of implementation, the presence of the grassroots-level reinforcement officials has effectively supported localities in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the government apparatus.

ĐBP - From the need to strengthen grassroots-level institutions and build a robust political system to the task of driving development in disadvantaged areas, Điện Biên has made a clear impact through its policy of seconding officials to the grassroots. With professionalism, responsibility, and close engagement with local realities, seconded officials have played a pivotal role at the grassroots level, working alongside Party committees and local authorities to address challenges and resolve emerging issues.
