ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 2, at the Điện Biên provincial Conference and Culture Center, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trần Tiến Dũng held a meeting to encourage the delegation of officials and students from Saint Petersburg city, Russia, led by Nikishina Natalia, Deputy Head of the Vyborg district Administration of Saint Petersburg, who are participating in an exchange program in the province.

ĐBP - To break down the “language barrier” and bring resolutions to life, the role of People’s Council delegates who are also party cell secretaries or village chiefs in ethnic minority communities is crucial. They not only represent the voice of the voters but also act as special “interpreters,” conveying the resolutions and policies of the Party and State in their mother tongues, helping people understand and follow them. Thanks to them, resolutions are no longer distant but permeate life, touching every mindset and every home in the highland border areas of Điện Biên.

ĐBP - Immediately after the Điện Biên provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, the entire political system throughout the province has quickly implemented strategic decisions through concrete action programs and plans.

ĐBP - On November 1, a working delegation from the provincial Party Committee, led by comrade Trần Tiến Dũng, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, visited and worked with the provincial Business Association.

ĐBP - In the highland border areas of Điện Biên province, the situation where ethnic minority compatriots are not yet proficient in the Vietnamese language or are illiterate still causes significant difficulties in communicating and implementing guidelines and resolutions; some resolutions do not even reach the people.

ĐBP - Firmly upholding their role as the political core at the grassroots level, the contingent of party members in the province are promoting a pioneering and exemplary spirit. ĐBP - On October 30, Lai Châu province chaired, in coordination with the Northern border provinces of Vietnam and Yunnan province (China), the 5th annual conference between the Party Secretaries of the provinces: Lai Châu, Điện Biên, Lào Cai, Tuyên Quang (Vietnam) and the Party Secretary of Yunnan province (China).

ĐBP - In the strong development current of the market economy, the private economic sector is increasingly affirming its role as an important driving force for growth. ĐBP - Within the framework of the 5th Annual Conference between provincial Party Secretaries and the 11th Session of the Joint Working Group of Lai Châu, Lào Cai, Tuyên Quang, Điện Biên provinces and Yunnan province (China), this afternoon (October 29) in Lai Châu province, comrade Trần Tiến Dũng, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, held a bilateral meeting with comrade Wang Ning, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Board of the People’s Congress of Yunnan province.

ĐBP - On October 27, a working delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, led by its Deputy Minister Võ Văn Hưng, conducted a field inspection of several projects in Mường Pồn commune, Điện Biên province.

ĐBP - With the spirit of “each citizen is a living landmark,” the ethnic peoples of Mường Nhà commune, Điện Biên province always uphold their sense of responsibility and actively participate in protecting the border line and markers. Through practical actions, the people have joined the border guards in strengthening patrols and control of the border line and markers, preventing violations of border regulations, and maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border region.

ĐBP - On October 26, comrade Nguyễn Văn Thắng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Finance, along with a working delegation, met with Điện Biên province regarding the situation of business production, public investment, import-export, infrastructure construction, social housing, national target programs, and the implementation of the two-level local government model.

ĐBP - Implementing Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022, of the Party Central Committee on “Strengthening and building grassroots-level Party organizations and improving the quality of the contingent of Party members in the new period,” Party committees at all levels in Điện Biên province have been widely implementing the “4-Good Party Cell” model.

ĐBP - On October 24, comrade Trần Tiến Dũng, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, conducted an inspection of the Si Pa Phìn commune Inter-level Primary - Secondary School project.

ĐBP - Along with the decisive involvement of party committees and authorities at all levels, the Điện Biên provincial Police force has implemented many synchronous measures, communicating with and mobilizing people to voluntarily surrender weapons, explosives, and combat gears, aiming to build a safe locality and a peaceful, happy life for people.

ĐBP - On October 23, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee inspected the implementation progress of the Nậm Rốm River Basin Multi-Disaster Management Project, which aims to protect people’s livelihoods, adapt to climate change, and promote the socio-economic development of Điện Biên province.

ĐBP - The year of 2026 is the first year of implementing the selection and calling of citizens for enlistment under the two-level local government model. With tasks from the district level being transferred to the commune level and partly to the provincial level, the selection and calling of citizens for enlistment will therefore have many new aspects.

ĐBP - Following directives from the Ministry of Public Security to strengthen alcohol checks and enforce laws on the prevention of alcohol-related harm, traffic safety, and the Government’s Decree 168, as well as to reduce traffic accidents linked to alcohol, the Điện Biên provincial Police launched a province-wide alcohol control campaign on October 18, 2025.

ĐBP - In recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Điện Biên province have actively communicated and mobilized, improved the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, and implemented democracy. They have also coordinated the organization of voter meetings and gathered public opinion. Through these efforts, the Fatherland Front has promoted its role in participating in the building of a clean and strong Party and government, creating consensus among the people.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of October 21, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee held a conference to announce and present the Decisions on the secondment of civil servants and public employees to work at the People’s Committees of communes and wards in the province.
