As a locality where the majority of ethnic minority people reside, the task for Điện Biên peovince becomes even more urgent.

ĐBP - Implementing the 2-tier local government model, Điện Biên province faces a requirement for strong innovation in the organization and operation of the grassroots-level administrative apparatus.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of December 3, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee Trần Tiến Dũng received the working delegation of Mavin Group Joint Stock Company led by David John Whitehead, Head of the delegation, on the occasion of their visit in the province.

ĐBP - Implementing Directive No.46-CT/TW dated May 16, 2025, of the Politburo regarding the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, Điện Biên province has synchronously deployed leadership and direction work from the provincial to the grassroots level.

Based on an assessment closely aligned with local realities, authorities have set out numerous concrete goals and targets, paired with solutions tailored to each sector.

ĐBP - After 5 months of implementation, the 2-tier local government model in Điện Biên province has operated stably, creating a foundation for the new apparatus to quickly settle into a routine.

ĐBP - Over the past months, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee has directed all subordinate Party committees and organizations to effectively implement the “electronic Party member handbook.”

ĐBP - With over 2,000 public headquarters in the province needing rearrangement when operating the 2-tier local government model, the arrangement and handling of public assets is an important task, requiring the decisive and synchronous involvement of all levels and sectors, along with a strict, scientific process in accordance with regulations. To date, Điện Biên province has completed the procedures for handing over assets to the grassroots level, making efforts to arrange them suitably, aiming for the ultimate goal of ensuring public assets are managed and used effectively, promoting their value, and avoiding loss and waste.

ĐBP - In the enthusiastic emulation atmosphere towards the 14th National Party Congress, officials, party members, and people of Điện Biên province are actively participating in providing comments on the draft documents submitted to the Congress. With a spirit of democracy, responsibility, and wisdom, tens of thousands of heartfelt opinions have been sent, demonstrating faith, consensus, and aspiration for national development.

ĐBP - Law plays a particularly important role, serving both as an effective state management tool and creating a safe, reliable, and favorable legal corridor for socio-economic development. In recent years, thanks to diverse information dissemination, dissemination, and legal education work, the political security situation and social order and safety in Điện Biên province have always been maintained, allowing people to work and produce with peace of mind.

ĐBP - The 2020 - 2025 term of the Điện Biên provincial Retired Teachers Association (RTA) took place in the context of the entire education sector implementing reform of the general education curriculum and textbooks; and the acceleration of policies on improving education quality, ensuring social security, building new-style rural areas, and socio-economic development.

ĐBP - Vietnam and Laos share a special friendly relationship, deeply bonded by solidarity. Điện Biên province, which borders Northern Laos provinces, has maintained cooperation, exchange, and support with its neighboring localities in various fields. Điện Biên and three Northern Laos provinces have just organized the signing of a new phase of cooperation in the field of healthcare and public health for the people on both sides of the border.

ĐBP - Immediately after the 1st communal Party Congress, 2025 - 2030 term, with the motto “Resolution must live in the lives of the people,” the Quài Tở commune Party Committee led and directed Party cells, Party members, and mass organizations to urgently take action to bring the Congress Resolution into life.

ĐBP - On November 24, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lò Văn Cương worked with the KOICA Office in Vietnam regarding the survey and preparation for the implementation of the project “Enhancing self-reliance capacity for rural areas through building electricity infrastructure for disadvantaged regions of Điện Biên province.”

ĐBP - To ensure that the election of the 16th tenure National Assembly deputies and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term truly becomes a festival of the people, Điện Biên province has been intensifying communication efforts targeting all community groups.

ĐBP - On the evening of November 23, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee held its November session, co-chaired by comrades: Lê Văn Lương, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Lò Văn Cương, Member of the provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

ĐBP - Implementing Regulation No.339-QĐ/TW dated July 10, 2025, of the Secretariat regarding the use of the “Electronic Party Member Handbook” application; and Plan No.251-KH/TU dated October 1, 2025, of the standing provincial Party Committee on organizing the deployment of the “Electronic Party Member Handbook” application, Party organizations across Điện Biên province have focused on deploying the installation and use of the software.
