ĐBP - The 81-year journey since the sacred moment President Hồ Chí Minh read the Declaration of Independence at historic Ba Đình Square is a continuous voyage of our nation safeguarding, cultivating, and promoting the values of independence, freedom, and peace through willpower, intellect, and the strength of solidarity.

ĐBP - On every National Day on September 2, the crimson of the national flag fluttering across villages and streets evokes pride in the historic journey of the nation and the land of Điện Biên.

ĐBP - For youths of Điện Biên today, the values of peace and independence are felt through opportunities to study, build careers, contribute, and defend the Fatherland.

ĐBP - More than eight decades have passed since the historic autumn of 1945, yet the words President Hồ Chí Minh delivered at Ba Đình Square continue to transcend the bounds of a founding document of a state.

ĐBP - After more than one year operating under the two-tier local governance model, Điện Biên has recorded numerous positive transformations.

ĐBP - During his lifetime, President Hồ Chí Minh consistently reminded cadres and Party members to wholeheartedly look after the livelihoods of the people.

ĐBP - While the initial target was to complete the exhumation and biological sampling of martyrs’ remains across 7 cemeteries before December 22, cadres and soldiers of the provincial Military Command, together with collaborating forces, accomplished the entire mission by the end of August 27 with high resolve and responsibility, exhuming and sampling 4,608 graves - nearly 4 months ahead of schedule.

ĐBP - These days, across the heroic land of Điện Biên Phủ, flags, flowers, and vibrant red banners flutter in the golden autumn breeze, celebrating the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

ĐBP - Along the borderline, winding roads follow the mountains, while villages nestle against the hillsides. The green uniforms of border guards have become a familiar sight to local communities.

ĐBP - Child marriage leaves severe consequences not only for parents, but also forces children into disadvantages right from the beginning of life. Some grow up in deprivation; some cannot take their father’s surname, leaving the father’s information blank on birth certificates; and some lose the opportunity to draw their first breath before ever being born. These “voids” illustrate that the repercussions of child marriage do not stop at a single marriage, but extend across future generations, impacting population quality, poverty reduction efforts, and social development.

ĐBP - In the early morning of a late August day, as the streets of central Điện Biên Phủ were still veiled in thin mist, officers and soldiers of the Điện Biên provincial Military Command gathered in full force at the Độc Lập National Martyrs’ Cemetery.

ĐBP - On August 28, the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held an incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Việt Nam (September 2, 1945 - 2026).

ĐBP - Guided by new requirements for studying and practicing Hồ Chí Minh’s thought, ethics, methodology, and style, Directive No.07-CT/TW dated July 13, 2026, of the Politburo is drawing keen attention from cadres and Party members in Quảng Lâm commune.

ĐBP - On August 27, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, chaired a conference to hear the provincial People’s Committee report on the operational plan of the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) of Điện Biên province.

ĐBP - To construct a solid public support posture along the frontier, cadres and soldiers of the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard have been directly visiting villages, practicing the principles of eating, living, and working alongside the people, while assisting them in economic development, disaster recovery, and maintaining security and order.

ĐBP - Building on a spirit of solidarity, initiative and creativity, during the first eight months of 2026, the Mường Tùng commune Party Committee, authorities and people from different ethnic groups have worked to carry out tasks in Party building, socio-economic development, national defense and security.

ĐBP - Nearly 7,000 cases of child marriage over the past 5 years, accounting for about 28% of total married individuals - a figure alarming enough to sound a warning bell about the scourge of child marriage in Điện Biên, one of the provinces with the highest rates nationwide.

ĐBP - With the goal of repelling drug-related vices and preserving peace for the people, the Party committee, administration, and police forces of Tìa Dình commune have implemented synchronized solutions to firmly retain the status of a “drug-free commune.”

ĐBP - Alongside successfully fulfilling local military and defense tasks, the armed forces of Điện Biên province have actively partnered with local Party committees, authorities, and the people to promote socioeconomic development.
