ĐBP - Listening to the people is not only a responsibility but also a vital bridge that connects the Party’s will with the people’s aspirations. In recent years, through various flexible and accessible approaches, particularly the recent “Listening to the people” Conference organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên province, a trusted platform has been created for citizens to express their views. This initiative has helped address issues arising at the grassroots level, foster social consensus, and strengthen the great national unity bloc.

ĐBP - Xa Dung commune features 42 villages with more than 15,800 residents, over 90% of whom belong to the Hmông ethnic group. Having once been an area harboring multiple potential drug risks due to its location along complex bordering routes between Điện Biên and Sơn La provinces, Xa Dung is now step-by-step generating positive turnarounds right from the grassroots level.

In Na Sang commune, driven by the drastic involvement of the party committee, authority, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations, the model of “Skillful public mobilization in site clearance for the construction of the Na Sang commune Multi-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School” has created deep consensus among the public, contributing to boosting local socio-economic development.

ĐBP - To complete the 2026 crop season production targets in Điện Biên province, alongside taking the initiative in irrigation water sources, seasonal frameworks, and synchronously applying technical measures, the preparation of crop seeds and agricultural supplies is also being focused on early by the agricultural sector, local authorities, and businesses.

ĐBP - The war has long receded, yet thousands of martyrs’ graves remain unidentified. With a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude, Điện Biên province is urgently deploying the sampling, digitization, and handover of martyr remains for DNA testing, opening up hope to reclaim names for the heroic children who fell for the Fatherland.

ĐBP - At this time, the preparation work for the 2026 defensive zone exercise of Điện Biên province is taking place urgently and seriously.

ĐBP - On June 10, at the Điện Biên provincial Department of Home Affairs, a delegation from the Happy Area Development Fund (FAD) of the Republic of Korea (RoK), led by Moon Huyn, Chairman of FAD, held a working session with several relevant departments, sectors, and units of the province to exchange and discuss future cooperation contents.

ĐBP - Immediately after the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party was issued, the Executive Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee urgently concretized it through Action Program No.40-CTr/TU dated March 3, 2026, clearly defining development viewpoints, orientations, tasks, and strategic breakthroughs aligned with local realities. From there, all levels, sectors, and localities have proactively formulated implementation plans with high determination, rapidly bringing the Resolution to life and spreading it powerfully from the province to the grassroots level.

ĐBP - In 2025, the first year of implementing the two-level local government model, Mường Ảng commune led the entire Điện Biên province in the commune-level Administrative Reform Index.

ĐBP - Over the past days, across many communes and wards in the province, the bustling atmosphere of the contest for excellent orators has taken place. Not only an opportunity for dissemination staff to showcase their abilities, the contest has opened up a closer approach in bringing Party resolutions to cadres, party members, and the people.

ĐBP - On June 8, Regiment 82 of Division 355 (Military Region 2) organized the Oath Ceremony for new recruits in 2026. Colonel Vũ Ngọc Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of Division 355, attended, directed, and encouraged the officers and soldiers.

ĐBP - Heading down to the village in the morning, working at the center in the afternoon, and returning to synthesize data in the evening - each officer at the commune-level General Service Center now acts as a technical expert and an organizer of grassroots-level movements. ĐBP - On the afternoon of June 6, Lò Văn Cương, Member of the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial and Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, chaired the June thematic meeting to review and offer opinions on the General Planning Project for the Điện Biên Phủ - Mường Thanh Inter-Ward Urban Area vision to 2050 and the General Planning Project for Pu Nhi commune vision to 2045.
