ĐBP - Resolution No.11-NQ/TU, issued on December 31, 2025 by the Executive Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee on restructuring the agricultural sector, makes clear: commune-level authorities are the direct implementers and play a decisive role; enterprises, cooperatives and farmers are the key development actors; and the State serves as facilitator, guiding and supporting the shift toward a concentrated, green, smart and sustainable commodity-based agriculture for 2026-2030, with a vision to 2035.

ĐBP - During the days leading up to the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tết), as many families gather for reunions, border guards at the westernmost frontier of the country remain steadfast at their posts to protect every stretch of the border and every landmark.

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tết), on February 8, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, along with a provincial delegation, visited and extended Tết wishes to the officers and soldiers of the provincial Police and Division 355 (Military Region 2).

ĐBP - Following the success of the 15th provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, Điện Biên has witnessed a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere throughout the political system and among all classes of people.

ĐBP - The 15th Congress of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term has identified a high-reaching economic growth target of 10–11%, with the year 2026 specifically striving to surpass the 11% mark.

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tết), on the afternoon of February 6, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, along with a delegation, visited and presented gifts to two policy families in Điện Biên Phủ ward.

ĐBP - Fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of elected representatives who represent the legitimate will and aspirations of voters and the people, People’s Councils at all levels have constantly innovated and improved the quality of their activities.

ĐBP - “No forbidden zones” and “no exceptions” are the guiding viewpoints of the Party in the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity. In Điện Biên province, under the leadership of the provincial Party Committee and Party Committees at all levels, this work continues to be implemented effectively. Functional agencies proactively detect and promptly handle violations of the law with strictness.

ĐBP - The quality of party cell meetings is considered a yardstick for the effectiveness of party building at the grassroots level. Realizing this, the Sín Thầu commune Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the synchronous implementation of many solutions to improve this quality.

ĐBP - To strengthen support for the grassroots level during election preparations, 27 provincial officials have been seconded to various communes following a decision by the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee.

ĐBP - Managing and protecting more than 40km of the border with Laos across a vast area with fragmented terrain where residents still face significant hardships, the officers and soldiers of the Mường Nhé Border Post persist in staying close to the people and the land.

ĐBP - Immediately after Resolution No.07-NQ/TU regarding “Enhancing the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots party organizations, contributing to consolidating the grassroots political system for the 2026-2030 period” was issued, communes and wards across Điện Biên province moved quickly to materialize it through implementation plans tailored to practical local conditions.

ĐBP - Since the early days of 2026, Điện Biên province has launched a vibrant emulation atmosphere linked to the socio-economic development and national defense-security goals of the new term. The emulation movements are spreading strongly, which reflects innovative thinking and the responsible involvement of the team of officials and party members along with the consensus of the people.

ĐBP - Climate change has caused widespread storms, floods, and landslides, resulting in significant loss of life and property for localities across the country in general and Điện Biên in particular.

ĐBP - During the year-end and Lunar New Year (Tết) period, the security and order situation in border areas contains many complex factors. Facing the requirement to firmly protect territorial sovereignty and ensure a peaceful life for the people, party committees and authorities along with border guard forces have proactively taken action to strengthen patrols, control, and tighten area management to maintain security stability in border regions.

ĐBP - The operation of a two-level local government system after mergers has placed many new requirements on the organizational apparatus and the quality of grassroots officials, especially in border communes and extremely difficult areas.
