ĐBP - On October 21, during the group discussion within the framework of the 2nd Session of the 16th National Assembly, deputies of the Điện Biên provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation contributed opinions to the draft laws amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Children, the Law on Persons with Disabilities, the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, the Law on Pharmacy, the Law on the Elderly, and the Law on Health Insurance.

ĐBP - Direct dialogue with residents is a practical way for local authorities to listen to their concerns and aspirations, identify emerging issues in a timely manner, and address problems arising in everyday life. In Mường Pồn commune, dialogue has enabled authorities to hear and consider numerous requests concerning infrastructure, social welfare and agricultural production, assign specific follow-up responsibilities, and strengthen government accountability, public participation and consensus among residents.

ĐBP - Following an election, what voters look forward to is the fulfillment of commitments and the concrete resolution of petitions.

ĐBP - On October 18, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, received and held a working session with comrade Nguyễn Minh Vũ, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

ĐBP - On the journey to search for and gather martyrs’ remains across former battlefields, every piece of information provided by the people opens up hope for locating the resting places of heroic martyrs. 

ĐBP - Inspection and supervision constitute an essential leadership function of the Party, in which regular supervision serves as a crucial modality directly aiding Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection commissions at all levels in overseeing compliance with the Party Charter, Party resolutions and directives, and State policies and laws; promptly identifying and warning against limitations, shortcomings, and violations right from their inception; while concurrently discovering innovative, exemplary, breakthrough, and highly effective factors for replication.

ĐBP - For highland ethnic groups, particularly illiterate voters and those not proficient in the national language, the ballot represents far more than the exercise of civil rights; it is a repository of trust and hope entrusted to individuals who represent their voices and aspirations in the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels. Through these choices, residents desire that tangible grassroots issues across villages and villages receive attention, leading to realistic policies that contribute to building a prosperous homeland and nation.

ĐBP - Identifying citizen reception, direct dialogue, and the settlement of complaints and denunciations as routine responsibilities, Điện Biên province places strong emphasis on heightening the accountability of agency heads, proactively grasping grassroots-level realities, and promptly settling issues right at the local level.

ĐBP - To unravel language barriers and deliver election information to voters, the contingent of Party cell secretaries and village heads has served as an extraordinary bridge.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of October 13, Điện Biên province organized a meeting with enterprises and entrepreneurs on the occasion of Việt Nam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).

ĐBP - During his lifetime, President Hồ Chí Minh affirmed: “Cadres are the root of all work.” Therefore, building a contingent of cadres truly close to the people, attuned to the grassroots, understanding of the citizenry, and accountable to the public is the decisive factor in translating guidelines and policies into practical reality.

ĐBP - A total of 99.96% of voters participated in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure, placing Điện Biên among the top five provinces and centrally administered cities with the highest voter turnout nationwide. This also stands as the highest turnout rate the province has recorded across election cycles.

ĐBP - On October 10, 1949, the Lai Châu provincial Party Affairs Committee - the predecessor organization of today’s Executive Boards of the Party Committees of Điện Biên and Lai Châu provinces - was established.

ĐBP - Following the operational rollout of the two-tier local governance model across the province, the workload placed upon commune-level shoulders has grown increasingly substantial.

ĐBP - On October 10, 1949, the Lai Châu provincial Party Affairs Committee - now the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee - was established. This represented a milestone laying the groundwork for revolutionary movements across the locality to receive unified leadership.
