ĐBP - Standing at the Điện Biên Phủ Victory Monument and looking down at the Mường Thanh basin, I always experience an indescribable feeling. The landscape before my eyes is both familiar and seemingly drifting very slowly at a different rhythm.

From drill fields to agencies and units, every single detail is being reviewed, supplemented, and finalized. With a spirit of proactiveness, responsibility, and determination, Điện Biên province is meticulously prepared and ready for a successful, safe, and high-quality exercise.

ĐBP - Every unnamed martyr’s grave is an unresolved heartache. Every unidentified set of remains represents an unfinished appointment with the family and the Fatherland.

ĐBP - Over a year of implementing the two-tier local government model, shifts in administrative and public service methods are manifested through every specific task.

ĐBP - On July 18, a delegation from the Lào Cai provincial Party Committee led by Hoàng Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, offered incense at the Temple of Martyrs at Điện Biên Phủ Battlefield, A1 National Martyrs’ Cemetery, and Tông Khao Martyrs’ Cemetery.

ĐBP - Continuing gratitude activities in Điện Biên province on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - 2026), on July 18, a delegation from the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hóa province led by Lê Đức Thái, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Deputy Delegation of Thanh Hóa province, offered incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at local martyrs’ cemeteries.

ĐBP - In Điện Biên province, following the merger of villages and residential groups, administrative areas have expanded, increasing the workload for heads of grassroots-level political-social sub-associations. With limited financial allowance regimes, a number of cadres have requested to step down, requiring localities to proactively consolidate and build a successor team to ensure uninterrupted operations.

ĐBP - Over the past years, the coordination program between the police force and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committees at all levels across Điện Biên province has created a deep and wide spillover effect in social life. Thanks to this, the movement “All people protect national security” has increasingly gone into depth, promoting the role of the People as the main actors in preserving the peace of daily life.

ĐBP - “Easy ten thousand times, without the people, it fails; hard ten thousand times, with the people, it succeeds” - President Hồ Chí Minh’s teaching affirmed the immense role of the people in the cause of national construction and development. Imbued with that ideology, mass mobilization work in Điện Biên over recent years has continued to innovate toward staying close to the people and the grassroots-level, placing citizens at the center of all guidelines and activities.

ĐBP - To completely resolve issues arising at the grassroots level, the first and foremost step is to listen to the voices of the people. Guided by this perspective, Tuần Giáo commune has consistently focused on strictly implementing citizen reception work and settling complaints and denunciations over the past period. Many cases have been discussed and resolved directly at the grassroots level through dialogue, preventing the formation of “hotspots,” building public consensus, and contributing to firmly maintaining local security and order.

ĐBP - Since the beginning of 2026, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Court has organized two rounds of mobile trials for drug-related cases in key areas and drug rehabilitation centers. This open trial format helps local citizens and rehabilitation patients clearly recognize the consequences of criminal acts and the strictness of the law in the fight against drug crimes.

ĐBP - During the morning working session on July 16, the fourth session of the 16th Điện Biên provincial People’s Council conducted question-and-answer activities, discussed and passed 20 resolutions, and officially closed.

ĐBP - On July 15, the Điện Biên provincial Police solemnly organized the ceremony to receive the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces for the Domestic Security Division.

ĐBP - During the 2021-2025 period, national target programs contributed to creating livelihoods and raising incomes for the public. However, implementation still encountered obstacles regarding support mechanisms and beneficiary groups.

ĐBP - Guided by the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 15th provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, along with resolutions, action programs and implementation plans issued by the Central Government, the provincial Party Committee and the provincial People’s Council, and embracing the motto “Responsibility, proactive leadership, innovation, and breakthrough growth,” the provincial People’s Committee has exercised comprehensive, proactive and flexible leadership.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of July 14, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, inspected the implementation progress of the inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School projects in Sam Mứn and Núa Ngam communes.

ĐBP - Continuing the gratitude program commemorating the 79th Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2026), on the morning of July 13, a delegation from Điện Biên province led by Cao Thị Tuyết Lan, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council, offered flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Hàng Keo Cemetery, Côn Đảo Temple, and Hàng Dương Cemetery in Côn Đảo Special Zone, Hồ Chí Minh City.
