Immediately after its establishment, the Thanh An communal Party Committee identified the organization of the upcoming congress as a top priority alongside efforts to stabilize the new organizational structure and ensure smooth governance. The committee promptly issued an implementation plan in response to Directive No.45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025, from the Politburo, which outlines the path toward the 14th National Party Congress. In addition, several subordinate Party branches and organizations were newly formed to facilitate the congress.

So far, the commune has established two Party organizations and two subordinate cells: the Party Organization of Commune Party Agencies, the Party Organization of the People’s Committee, the Police Party Cell, and the Health Station Party Cell. A Military Party Cell is also expected to be set up soon. As the previous grassroots-level Party congresses had already been held in early 2025, the newly established branches are now focusing on meeting the requirements to conduct their respective congresses by the end of July.

Lò Hải Dung, Secretary of the Thanh An communal Party Committee, emphasized: “In parallel with founding and guiding the new branches, we are paying close attention to preparing for the main Party Congress of the commune. We have set up four subcommittees: Documents, Logistics, Security, and Publicity & Protocol. Each has promptly begun their assigned tasks, particularly the Documents Subcommittee, which has formed four working groups to draft the political report, the congress resolution, and other essential materials.”

The first draft of the political report has already been completed and circulated among Party Committee members for feedback. This document provides a comprehensive, objective assessment of the commune’s recent achievements, especially in Party building, anti-corruption, socio-economic development, and national defense, and clearly outlines both successes and shortcomings, with lessons learned for future leadership.

The proposed theme for the 2025-2030 political report is: “Building a clean and strong Party Committee; promoting national unity; harnessing local potential and advantages to accelerate socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security; and striving for sustainable development in Thanh An commune.”

After finalizing public consultation, the report will be submitted to the provincial Party Standing Committee for approval in late July. Alongside documentation, the commune is also actively promoting the congress through communications campaigns and preparing logistics, ensuring security, and maintaining order during the event.

The first-term Party Congress of Thanh An Commune is scheduled to take place in mid-August 2025. With the timeline rapidly approaching, the Thanh An communal Party Committee is working urgently to ensure that all preparations are completed on time, delivering a congress that lives up to the expectations of its officials, Party members, and the local community.
