Provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng visits stalls at Mường Thanh Walking Street

ĐBP - On the evening of March 9, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, conducted a visit and inspection of the exhibition stalls showcasing specialty agricultural products, culture, and tourism at Mường Thanh Walking Street in phường Điện Biên Phủ. Joining the delegation was Nguyễn Minh Phú, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

The provincial Party Secretary toured a diverse array of OCOP (One Commune One Product) displays, ranging from specialty coffee and honey to herbal products and traditional hand-woven brocades presented by various communes, wards, and local economic entities.

These products, which serve as the pride of the highlands, drew significant attention from both residents and tourists alike. During his visit, Trần Tiến Dũng took the time to cordially inquire with local representatives, cooperatives, and businesses about their production processes, branding journeys, and current market consumption.

Recognizing the immense effort put into developing these signature products, the Secretary encouraged the participants to continue elevating their quality while modernizing their packaging and design to meet higher market standards. He particularly emphasized the importance of digital technology, urging producers to leverage digital platforms to broaden their reach and promote the unique identity of Điện Biên products to a wider audience.
