ĐBP - On the afternoon of January 28 (the 29th day of the last lunar month), Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, visited, encouraged, and extended greetings to several armed forces and healthcare units on duty during the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday.

At the Thanh Nưa Commune Police (Điện Biên District), Secretary Trần Quốc Cường listened to a brief report on the security situation in 2024 and their plans for ensuring social order and public safety during the peak period of the traditional holiday.

He emphasized the principle of “staying awake so that people can sleep well,” ensuring the community enjoys a secure and joyful Tết. On behalf of the provincial leadership, he extended wishes for health, happiness, and success to all officers and soldiers of the Điện Biên Phủ City Police in the Lunar New Year.

Additionally, he also conveyed his best wishes to the detainees, encouraging them to have a peaceful and healthy Lunar New Year while abiding by the detention center’s regulations.

After a briefing from the hospital leadership on their preparedness for Tết, he wished the doctors and healthcare workers a healthy, warm, and joyful Lunar New Year. He expressed hope that emergency cases before, during, and after the holiday would be minimal and that all patients under treatment would recover without complications, reducing the burden on both medical staff and patients’ families.
