Provincial Party Secretary extends Tết greetings to local Military Command

ĐBP - On February 17, marking the first day of the Bính Ngọ Lunar New Year and immediately following the transition into the new year, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, led a provincial delegation to visit and offer wishes to officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command.

The delegation also featured Mùa A Vảng, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, as well as members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and representatives from various provincial departments and sectors.

Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of early spring, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng conveyed his heartfelt wishes for health, prosperity, and new successes to all personnel of the provincial armed forces.

He took the opportunity to recognize and praise the significant achievements the provincial Military Command has secured in recent times, highlighting their pivotal role in carrying out defense and local military assignments. These contributions have been essential in preserving political stability and ensuring social safety, which in turn fosters a conducive environment for the province’s broader economic, cultural, and social growth.

Responding to the delegation, Senior Colonel Trịnh Đức Thiêm, Commander of the provincial Military Command, expressed deep gratitude for the encouragement provided by the provincial leaders. He affirmed a steadfast commitment to further enhancing the responsibility of the local armed forces in securing political stability and social order.

The commander emphasized that the forces are prepared to proactively fulfill any assigned duties, with a core mission of supporting economic advancement and ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life for the ethnic communities residing across the province.
