Concurrently, he introduced the potential for tourism development founded upon distinctive historical and cultural values alongside natural landscapes.

Notably, the provincial Party Secretary dedicated considerable attention to presenting Điện Biên’s tourism development potential anchored in the network of historical relic sites tied to the Điện Biên Phủ Victory, scenic landscapes, and the rich cultural identities of local ethnic communities. These represent crucial advantages enabling Điện Biên to foster signature tourism products, enhance visitor experiences, and lengthen tourist stays.

Provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng suggested orientations for tapping deeper into the value of historical and pilgrimage tourism, as well as researching the creation of profound cultural and artistic offerings that establish a unique hallmark for Điện Biên. Particular focus was placed on exploring the organization of live-action real-scene artistic performances associated with renowned landmarks such as Hill A1 and the De Castries Bunker area. This approach would vividly recreate historical narratives, harmonizing heritage conservation and traditional education with tourism economic growth.

Exchanging views during the meeting, Trần Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, provided a general outline of the group’s development history, operational model, and key areas of strength. CT Group currently takes interest in and conducts research across multiple emerging technological spheres, including artificial intelligence, semiconductor integrated circuits, unmanned aerial vehicles, new energy, and carbon credits.

Based on the potentials and strengths of Điện Biên, the Chairman of CT Group exchanged views and suggested several developmental orientations for the province to examine moving forward. Notable among these is the sector of carbon credits linked to forest resources, environmental protection, and green economic development trends. The Chairman of CT Group also discussed prospects for applying science, technology, and digital transformation across areas suited to local needs and development orientations.
