Reporting briefly to the provincial Party Secretary on the outstanding results achieved in recent times, the school’s leadership stated: The school currently offers training in 16 fields at the college level, 24 fields at the intermediate level, and dozens of fields at the elementary level (training under 3 months), with a training scale of 3,417 pupils, students, and trainees. The school focuses on innovating vocational training towards standardization, modernization, meeting digital technology requirements, and strengthening linkages with businesses.
Comrade Trần Tiến Dũng congratulated the school’s Board of Directors, staff, and lecturers on the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. He highly praised the outstanding results achieved by Điện Biên College; and emphasized: Based on the existing fields and faculties, the school needs to continue reviewing to identify key fields for training, closely following the needs of society and businesses, as well as commissioned fields. The school also needs to pay more attention to teaching Japanese and Chinese to students, as well as to its staff and officials.
At the same time, he noted that the school’s teaching staff must regularly cultivate knowledge, enhance professional qualifications and skills, and increase coordination with businesses for student internships. Furthermore, the school needs to clearly define the content it will participate in with the province in implementing Resolution 57 on breaking through development in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. The provincial Party Secretary suggested that the school could focus on strengthening scientific research and establishing an innovation center, thereby contributing to meeting the province’s development requirements.
