ĐBP - On the morning of March 15, amidst the vibrant and nationwide atmosphere of Election Day, Polling Area No.16 in Điện Biên Phủ ward solemnly held the opening ceremony for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, attended the event to encourage local voters and fulfill his civil right and obligation.

The ceremony followed strict democratic protocols, beginning with a formal flag salute, followed by the introduction of delegates and the reading of the opening address.

Addressing the assembly, the election team representative emphasized the profound significance of selecting individuals who possess both “virtue and talent” to represent the will and aspirations of the people.

Immediately following the opening rites, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng was among the first to cast his ballot, leading a group of over 1,400 voters from Residential Groups 3, 5, and 7.
