Promoting cooperation between Điện Biên Province’s Inspection Commission and Party Inspection-Inspectorate Commissions of the three Lao provinces Phoongsaly, Oudomxay, and Luang Prabang

ĐBP - The Inspection Commission of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee on September 18 hosted a meeting in Điện Biên Phủ City with the delegation from the Party Inspection-Inspectorate Commissions of the three northern Lao provinces Phoongsaly, Oudomxay, and Luang Prabang.

Nguyễn Sỹ Quân, member of the Standing Committee of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee & and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, delivered a speech at the meeting on September 18.

Addressing the meeting, head of Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Nguyễn Sỹ Quân expressed his pleasure and warmly welcomed the delegation for their visit to Điện Biên.

The visit is a meaningful activity aimed at strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations between Điện Biên Province and the three Lao provinces in general, and between the Inspection Commission of Điện Biên Province and the Party Inspection-Inspectorate Commissions of these three provinces in particular, Quân said.

This will contribute to further nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Laos, he added.

The Inspection Commission of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee and the Party Inspection-Inspectorate Commissions of the three northern Lao provinces Phoongsaly, Oudomxay, and Luang Prabang signed a memorandum of understanding.

In the spirit of special solidarity, friendship, trust, and mutual understanding, the two sides exchanged results of the implementation of the previously signed memorandum of understanding, as well as shared information about the economic, cultural, and social situation of each other.

They also agreed on the evaluation of the bilateral activities from 2022 to now, set out directions for further cooperation, and discussed sharing experiences in the areas of inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement of the Party in the 2024-2026 period.

Strengthening the cooperation ties between the Inspection Commission of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee and the Party Inspection-Inspectorate Commissions of the three Lao provinces Phoongsaly, Oudomxay, and Luang Prabang.

The two sides regularly share information about their results in Party inspection, supervision, and disciplinary works, as well as state inspections, through meetings, visits, and working sessions between high-level delegations from both countries, which include members of both agencies.

Nguyễn Sỹ Quân, member of the Standing Committee of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee & and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, presented gifts to the leaders of the Party Inspection- Inspectorate Commissions of the three provinces of Phoong Sa Ly, Udomxay, and Luang Prabang.

In the meeting, the Vietnamese and Lao sides have discussed and agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, focusing on promoting education on revolutionary traditions, the friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and States; enhancing cooperation and exchange of information and lessons learned in the areas of Party inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement, as well as state inspections.

Both sides also concurred to hold meetings and exchange experiences every two years on a rotating basis, contributing to further nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Laos.
