Vietjet opens direct flight Hà Nội – Điện Biên

ĐBP - The Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company on March 1 opened the direct flight Hà Nội – Điện Biên on the occasion of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory 70th anniversary.

Leaders of Điện Biên Province and Vietjet welcome the first flight of the Hà Nội – Điện Biên route.

The newly launched Hà Nội – Điện Biên route is operated by Vietjet Air, offering three round trips every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Departing from Hà Nội at 9:30 am, the flights arrive at Điện Biên Airport by 10:25 am. Return journeys from Điện Biên depart at 11 am, touching down at Nội Bài International Airport at 11:50 am.

This marks Vietjet Air's second route to Điện Biên, following the HCM City – Điện Biên route. With a mere 50-minute flight duration, individuals and tourists can conveniently traverse between Hà Nội and Điện Biên. Vietjet's Hà Nội – Điện Biên route plays a pivotal role in bridging Điện Biên Province and the northwest region with Hà Nội, the nation's political, economic, and cultural hub.

At the same time, it meets the expectations of the people and businesses. It is also an opportunity for the province to have breakthroughs and develop.

The leader of Điện Biên Province expressed gratitude for Vietjet Airline's support and partnership in servicing the Hà Nội – Điện Biên route. Looking ahead, particularly with the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory, the province anticipates Vietjet increasing flight frequencies on both the Hà Nội – Điện Biên and HCM City – Điện Biên routes.

Furthermore, they hope Vietjet Air will explore and inaugurate additional routes connecting Điện Biên with cities such as Hải Phòng, Thanh Hóa, and Đà Nẵng. The province also looks forward to Vietjet's expansion into cargo transportation alongside its passenger services in the future.
