Háng Lìa communal bridge inaugurated

ĐBP - On March 5, the Điện Biên provincial Labor Federation held an inauguration ceremony for the Háng Lìa communal bridge in Điện Biên Đông district, Điện Biên province.

The event was attended by Tẩn Minh Long, Chairman of the provincial Labor Federation, along with district leaders, local authorities, and residents of Háng Lìa commune.

The construction of the bridge began in early February 2025, with a total investment of over VNĐ 100 million, funded through the provincial Labor Federation’s fundraising efforts and financial support from the Hồng Hà Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (Hanoi).

The bridge holds significant importance for local residents, improving transportation, facilitating the movement of goods and agricultural products, and contributing to economic development. It also ensures safer school commutes for children, especially during the rainy season.

This project aligns with local authorities' efforts to eliminate makeshift bridges, enhancing socio-economic growth and strengthening national defense and security in the area.
