Diverse Showcase of OCOP Products Unveiled in Điện Biên

ĐBP - Thousands of OCOP products, agricultural goods, and traditional crafts hailing from 23 provinces and cities nationwide are currently on display and being introduced at the Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Centre in Điện Biên Phủ, running from March 16th to 18th. The diversity, uniqueness, and distinctive regional characteristics inherent in each item have captured the interest of both local residents and tourists alike.

As affirmed by the organising committee, the exhibited agricultural produce, traditional craft village items, and OCOP products sourced from various provinces and cities meet stringent standards and quality regulations. Visitors can access comprehensive information regarding pricing and origins for each showcased item at the exhibition booths.

The showcased products encompass a wide array, including musical instruments, ethnic costumes, paintings, photographs, books, handicrafts, traditional crafts, and agricultural goods, catering to the interests of both tourists and local residents alike. With such a diverse selection, visitors are thrilled to engage with and purchase OCOP products meticulously crafted by dedicated farmers from various regions.

Moreover, the exhibition and introduction of OCOP products, agricultural items, and traditional craft village artifacts are integral components of the 2024 Điện Biên National Tourism Year and the 2024 Ban Flower Festival. This occasion not only fosters economic and social development cooperation among provinces and cities but also provides a platform to showcase and promote exemplary OCOP brands to a broad audience comprising locals, domestic tourists, and international visitors. Additionally, the event serves as a conduit for businesses and cooperatives to forge connections with consumption markets, partners, and potential customers, thereby facilitating cooperation and fostering business development.

OCOP products are recognised as attractive tourism offerings that not only entice tourists to Điện Biên province but also draw attention to provinces and cities across the nation.

According to Dương Kim Chuyển from the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center of Cà Mau province, approximately 50% of visitors who explored Cà Mau's OCOP products have opted to purchase them, eager to experience their exceptional quality firsthand.

The OCOP products, agricultural goods, and traditional craft villages of Điện Biên province are currently on display and being introduced to visitors.

The diversity of these products has captivated a significant number of both local residents and tourists.
