The Vice Chairman emphasized that in addition to economic development, Điện Biên has always focused on social welfare, particularly gender equality and gender-based violence prevention. The provincial Party Committee, authorities, and political-social organizations have implemented many programs to raise awareness, provide psychological support, healthcare, and medical services aimed at reducing gender-based violence and protecting the rights of women and girls.
