In Lói village, Quài Tở commune, the imprint of women is clearly shown in every road and every house. Women members are the leading force in mobilizing households to embellish their premises, plant flowers on both sides of the road, build green fences, and maintain the habit of collecting and processing waste according to regulations.
Lường Thị Hoa, a women’s union member of Lói village, shared: “At first, mobilizing people to change their habits was difficult; many were hesitant. But the women in the village persistently went to each house to explain and did it first for everyone to follow. Now, every morning, families sweep their yards and alleys; waste is collected in the right place. The village is cleaner and more beautiful, so everyone is excited.”
In Búng Lao commune, the dissemination and mobilization to change living habits, maintain environmental hygiene, and promote the spirit of saving and mutual support in the community are always proactively undertaken and maintained by women members. The branches flexibly select suitable contents to implement, taking members as the center, promoting the role of setting examples, “doing first, mobilizing later.” For instance, the model “Green House - Turning waste into money” deployed and launched by the commune Women’s Union on May 2, 2026, has attracted the active participation of a large number of women members and local residents.
Lường Thị Thanh, Chairwoman of the Búng Lao commune Women’s Union, stated: “In the 2026 - 2030 period, the Union aims for each branch to build a ‘Green House’ in the center of the village, cultural house, and concentrated residential areas. The green house collects recyclable waste such as plastic bottles, cans, scrap paper, cartons... to create a fund for social security activities. In 2026 alone, the Union deploys 3 models at the women’s branches of Bua 1, Quyết Tiến, and Vánh 3 villages.”
Not stopping at environmental protection and social security activities, women’s unions at all levels in the province proactively innovate mass mobilization content associated with digital transformation, gradually improving the efficiency of gathering and connecting members.
In Mường Ảng commune, the “Digital Branch” and “Digital Family” models deployed in mid-April 2026 in Hón village have created a new shift in mass mobilization work. Through Zalo groups and social networks, information is transmitted quickly and timely to members, helping women grasp guidelines and policies, share experiences in economic development, family care, and access essential services.
The highlight of the “Digital Family” and “Digital Branch” models in Hón village does not stop at the scope of members, as many elderly people in the village, despite not being women’s union members, proactively participate in instructional sessions to learn how to use smartphones. Since its launch, the model has guided over 20 households and nearly 30 members to flexibly use necessary applications.
Cầm Thị Phương, Head of the Women’s Branch in Hón village, shared: “The branch has about 60 out of 70 members using smartphones, but not everyone exploits them effectively. Many women, especially the elderly, are still confused when accessing digital applications. From that reality, the model was deployed to guide members to install and use necessary applications such as: registering digital accounts, electronic identification, integrating health insurance cards, cashless payments... At the same time, through connecting groups, the Party’s guidelines and the State’s legal policies are also spread promptly.”
With specific methods suitable to reality, the “Digital Branch” and “Digital Family” models are gradually being replicated by women’s unions at all levels. To date, the entire province has built 9 models with more than 600 participating members, contributing to improving the efficiency of mass mobilization work in the new situation.
The “skillful mass mobilization” emulation movement in women’s unions at all levels is deployed widely across many fields with hundreds of works, tasks, and practical models being maintained and replicated at the grassroots level. Social security activities and caring for the lives of members, women, and children are carried out promptly and practically.
Typically, the “Accompanying border women” program deployed for many years has become an important fulcrum helping border women step by step stabilize their lives. In the 2021 - 2025 period, women’s unions at all levels coordinated with border guard forces to contribute more than 7,000 working days, support 12,600 seedlings and breeding animals; mobilize 100 collectives with more than 12,900 individuals to participate in self-managing nearly 400km of border lines; 98 collectives with over 13,000 individuals registering to manage 146 border markers and 10 border works...
Pờ Diệu Ninh, Chairwoman of the provincial Women’s Union, stated: “The skillful mass mobilization emulation movement in women’s unions at all levels is deployed closely following the local political tasks associated with the practical needs of members. Through specific models and tasks, the role of women in dissemination and mobilization is increasingly promoted, contributing to creating positive changes in social life.”
