Through small yet meaningful actions, residents join hands to cultivate green, clean, and beautiful landscapes, contributing to elevating the quality of the living environment, while simultaneously shaping a civilized lifestyle that is friendly to nature and oriented toward sustainable development.
Within Mường Nhà commune, public sanitation awareness in certain locations remains limited. Indiscriminate littering and placing objects on the median strip persist along National Highway 279C, negatively affecting spatial aesthetics and the local environment. Notably, the volume of generated domestic waste has not been completely processed, and sorting and collecting waste at the source have not been maintained regularly or synchronously.
To spread a “green lifestyle” from residential communities, Mường Nhà commune launched a 2026 campaign titled “The entire population joins hands to protect the environment for a green, clean, and beautiful Vietnam.” This movement is highly expected to diffuse environmental protection awareness, turning small daily actions into a fine cultural trait and contributing to building green, clean, and livable residential areas.
Phạm Ngọc Hà, Secretary of the Mường Nhà commune Party Committee, emphasized that party cells, agencies, units, and schools need to continue boosting dissemination to upgrade the awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members, and the public regarding environmental protection. Promoting the exemplary role of cadres and party members, each individual must serve as a core element in mobilizing families and citizens to perform well in preserving environmental sanitation, refraining from indiscriminate littering, and actively participating in cleaning village roads, hamlets, and residential areas.
Immediately following the launching ceremony, a large number of cadres, party members, armed forces, youth union members, and citizens carried out a comprehensive environmental cleanup, collecting waste at spontaneous dumping sites, clearing ditches and canals, and cleaning residential roads. They provided direct guidance to households on waste sorting procedures covering organic, recyclable, and inorganic waste. Furthermore, they planted new trees and flowers along self-managed roads, while removing illegal advertisement signs from walls and power poles to preserve urban and rural aesthetics.
Quàng Văn Thoa, a resident of Xôm village in Mường Nhà commune, shared that through dissemination, they understand more clearly that sorting waste at the source and preserving environmental sanitation do not only make their villages cleaner and more beautiful but also contribute to protecting the health of their own families and the community. He added that they will continue to mobilize relatives and neighbors to join hands in preserving environmental sanitation and building a green, clean, and beautiful residential area.
In Phiêng Quảng village, Sáng Nhè commune, the “Farmers Protect the Environment” Club was recently established with the participation of 54 members. The birth of the club is expected to become a core force spreading environmental protection awareness within the residential community, integrating green actions into daily life. Thereby, it contributes to building green, clean, and beautiful residential areas, laying the foundation for new-style rural development and elevating citizens’ quality of life.
Lò Văn Dâm, Chairman of the club, shared that as a gathering place for farmer members who possess a high sense of responsibility in environmental protection, the club will maintain the cleanliness of village roads and alleys, plant trees, and guide residents on how to sort and process domestic waste properly. He expressed his desire for each member to be an active core element, contributing to changing public perception and actions in preserving a green, clean, and beautiful living environment.
To date, the “The entire population joins hands to protect the environment for a green, clean, and beautiful Vietnam” movement has been widely deployed across 45 communes and wards throughout the province. Along with dissemination, the movement has been materialized through multiple practical actions, drawing the active participation of cadres, party members, and various social strata. From trash-free roads and newly cultivated green trees to increasingly upgraded awareness of waste sorting and treatment, the movement is contributing to sowing “green seeds” within the community, creating a foundation for a fresh living environment and a sustainable future.
Crucially, the movement has received an enthusiastic response from the grassroots level, spanning cadres, union members, association members, citizens, and enterprises. Activities do not merely take place on launching days but are step-by-step shaping a sense of self-discipline and community responsibility in preserving the living environment. This serves as an important foundation to build green residential area models and green routes, gradually forming a civilized and eco-friendly lifestyle.
To prevent the movement from stopping at sporadic operational drives and ensure it becomes a regular action in community life, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have focused heavily on dissemination and mobilization, helping residents clearly understand the meaning and responsibility of each individual in environmental protection. Concurrently, the guidelines of the Party and the policies and laws of the State regarding environmental protection, climate change response, and sustainable development have been deeply and widely deployed, contributing to transforming awareness into action and shaping a green lifestyle within residential communities.
According to statistics, the province-wide movement has attracted more than 102,000 turns of participants across 1,446 villages and residential groups, 78 schools, and 170 agencies and units. Participating forces organized the collection and processing of over 20 tons of waste, cleaned hundreds of kilometers of rural and urban transport roads, and presented 250 plastic baskets to residents to replace plastic bags and single-use plastic products, contributing to spreading green living habits within the community.
Driven by small collective actions from the community, the appearance of the living environment is changing day by day toward a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful direction. As awareness is awakened and spread, each citizen is not merely a beneficiary but becomes the central subject shaping their own living environment. This shared solidarity is contributing to forming a civilized lifestyle that is friendly to nature, ensuring that countrysides become increasingly greener and more beautiful from community awareness.
