Điện Biên Museum receives two light sculpture artworks

ĐBP – The Điện Biên Phủ Historical Victory Museum in the northern mountainous province of Điện Biên received two light sculpture artworks. One portrays Điện Biên soldiers, while the other depicts a portrait of General Võ Nguyên Giáp.

The light sculpture artwork of General Võ Nguyên Giáp's portrait is displayed at the Điện Biên Phủ Historical Victory Museum.

These artworks are part of a trio crafted by artist Bùi Văn Tự, initially intended for display at the "Travel through Việt Nam's Heritage Sites and Landmarks" exhibition held at the Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Centre in Điện Biên Province.

Artist Bùi Văn Tự expressed that showcasing these artworks at the museum is a gesture of gratitude to the previous generation, whose historic victory "echoed across continents and shook the globe" 70 years ago.

The artwork depicting Điện Biên soldiers is exhibited at the "Travel through Việt Nam's Heritage Sites and Landmarks" exhibition.

Currently, the light sculpture featuring General Võ Nguyên Giáp's portrait is on display in the artifact exhibition section of the Điện Biên Phủ Historical Victory Museum. Meanwhile, the artwork portraying the Điện Biên soldiers is en route to Hà Nội for educational purposes on May 7th. Afterwards, it will be returned to the museum for exhibition, serving the museum's visitors.
