ĐBP - Significant progress has been achieved in the implementation of projects within the provincial political and administrative centre. This assessment was delivered during a meeting of the Steering Committee for the relocation of provincial agencies to the new political and administrative centre, held on Friday morning in Điện Biên Province. ĐBP - On Thursday, a delegation from the National Assembly’s Ethnic Council convened with the Điện Biên Provincial People's Committee to evaluate the implementation of land and forest allocation policies. The meeting centred on strategies for protecting and developing forests while ensuring stable livelihoods for ethnic minority communities in the region from 2019 to 2023.

ĐBP – Deputy Prime Minister Trần Lưu Quang announced that the Government has decided to provide emergency assistance of VNĐ10 billion (US$398,089) to Điện Biên Province to help mitigate damage from floods, landslides and to stabilise the lives of residents in affected areas.
