ĐBP – On October 25, Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and head of the drafting for the report on socio-economic affairs, chaired a meeting to discuss and contribute ideas to the Draft Political Report on socio-economic fields, which will be used to prepare the political report for the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. ĐBP - On the afternoon of 23rd October, a delegation from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, led by Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, paid a visit to Mường Nhé Border Guard Station and Mường Nhé District’s Upper Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. The delegation included Lò Văn Phương, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, as well as Mùa A Vảng, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

ĐBP – Most Venerable Thích Đức Thiện, Vice President and General Secretary of the Executive Council of the Việt Nam Buddhist Sangha, who is also National Assembly delegate from Điện Biên Province, proposed allowing religious organisations to establish cultural heritage preservation funds.

ĐBP – The Government's Working Group 435 on October 17 afternoon had an online working session with Lai Châu and Điện Biên provinces from Hải Dương Province. Comrade Đỗ Đức Duy, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment chaired the working session in Hải Dương Province, whereas Comrade Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee instructed in Điện Biên Province.

On October 16, a delegation from the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), led by Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Information and Communications, held a working session with the Party Standing Committee of Điện Biên Province.

ĐBP – Police from Điện Biên District in Việt Nam’s northern mountainous province of Điện Biên and May District in Laos’ Phongsaly province have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on maintaining security and order along their shared border. The agreement was made during talks held in Điện Biên District on October 15.
