Nguyễn Phú Trọng, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee, has significantly shaped the nation's international relations through his unwavering dedication, profound intellect, and steadfast commitment to fostering global partnerships.

At 80 years old, with nearly 57 years of Party membership, 14 years as General Secretary, more than two years as President, and over five years as National Assembly Chairman, Nguyễn Phú Trọng consistently devoted himself to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. Alongside the Central Committee and the Government, he led the entire Party, the people, and the armed forces to achieve many significant and historic accomplishments.

He passed away due to age-related illness at Central Military Hospital 108 in Hà Nội.

ĐBP - On the morning of 10th July, the Provincial People's Council inaugurated its 15th session - the mid-year regular session of 2024. The session was chaired by Lò Văn Phương, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Giàng Thị Hoa, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council. ĐBP - On the morning of 9th July, the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam organised a nationwide conference to disseminate Regulation No. 144-QĐ/TW on revolutionary ethics standards for cadres and party members in the new period, and Directive No. 35-CT/TW on Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party. The conference was conducted both in-person and online, with 15,644 venues across the country and nearly 1.3 million cadres and party members participating.
