ĐBP - The 15th Điện Biên provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is a landmark political event, marking a new phase in the province’s development as the country pushes forward with comprehensive reform and global integration. As the congress approaches, officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups across the province share a common trust and strong expectation for strategic, visionary decisions that will drive Điện Biên towards rapid and sustainable growth.

ĐBP - On June 23, the Điện Biên provincial Military Command held a meeting to hand over the responsibilities of the Commander of the provincial Military Command.

ĐBP - The 2025 national high school graduation exam comes at a critical juncture, coinciding with the final days of Vietnam’s transition from a three-tier to a two-tier administrative system. Initially, there were concerns that this major restructuring could disrupt exam preparations. However, across Điện Biên province, authorities at all levels have treated this exam as a top priority, operating under the guiding spirit: “Even with just one day left, we remain fully committed and responsible.”

During the meeting, the committee approved 8 key groups of tasks and solutions.

ĐBP - As part of the restructuring and merger of administrative units at the commune level, handling surplus office buildings has become an urgent task to ensure the effective use of public assets and maintain stable government operations. The province of Điện Biên has developed a specific plan that is tailored to local realities, aiming to save resources while ensuring service to people.

ĐBP - Working at the Department of Ethnic Radio and Television under the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper for over 20 years, I have always been with the people, listening to and reflecting their lives and thoughts in the highlands. As a member of the Hmong ethnic group, I consider it an honor to work in journalism and broadcasting in my native language.

ĐBP - In step with the evolution of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam, Điện Biên’s local press has steadily grown, asserting its vital role in the province’s political and social life. Facing both opportunities and challenges in the digital age, journalists in Điện Biên are proactively embracing innovation to meet rising demands from readers and to contribute meaningfully to the province’s development.

ĐBP - This is the directive of the Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, Trần Quốc Cường, at the meeting of the provincial Steering Committee to build the Project for the arrangement and reorganization of the two-level administrative units in the province, which took place on the morning of June 19.

That figure is Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh, an officer in the Training and Advisory Team, Deputy Chairperson of the Women’s Union of the Mobile Police Division, and a typical example of a female police officer in the new era: resilient, strong-willed, compassionate, and always burning with the desire to contribute.

ĐBP - As part of the preparation for Party congresses at all levels, the health sector of Điện Biên province has launched an extensive emulation campaign. With a high level of determination, a spirit of innovation, and solidarity, this emulation movement has spread widely, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services and laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the province.

ĐBP - Our Party views the press as a sharp weapon in the ideological battle, a bridge between the Party, the State, and the people. In today’s context, where the fight in cyberspace has become increasingly intense and the spread of misinformation and hostile views is rampant, revolutionary journalism must assert its role as a leader of public opinion and safeguard the “ideological front” of the Party.

ĐBP - Along with the development of the press sector nationwide, journalism in Điện Biên province and local journalists have made rapid progress.
