Well responding to contest on protecting Party’s ideological foundation

ĐBP - Responding to the political essay contest on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, Party committees, agencies, and units across the province have actively implemented the initiative, attracting a large number of officials, party members, and people from all walks of life.

The contest has become an extensive political activity, contributing to raising awareness, political bravery, and responsibility in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in the new situation.

At the provincial Military Command, the Contest has been deployed extensively to all subordinate agencies and units. Dissemination work has been stepped up through political activities, resolution studies, and internal media platforms, drawing a large number of officers and soldiers to participate. At the grassroots level alone, 186 entries were submitted, while the provincial Military Command level received 72 entries, from which outstanding and typical works were selected to be sent to the provincial level and Military Region 2.

To gather authentic material for his writings, Lieutenant Colonel Phạm Đức Hạnh from the Political Department of the provincial Military Command spent many consecutive days visiting border, remote, and isolated communes such as Mường Toong, Sín Thầu, Mường Nhé, and Nà Bủng to meet grassroots-level officials, soldiers, and local residents.

“Participating in this year’s contest, I have three works focusing on the struggle in cyberspace and the role of military officers in mass mobilization work. These journeys through the border forests and remote areas not only helped me collect data but also brought many vivid stories about the frontline armed forces’ spirit of staying close to the people and the locality. Based on that reality, the contest entries were elaborately invested in, possessing significant depth and high persuasiveness,” Lieutenant Colonel Phạm Đức Hạnh said.

In Sín Thầu commune, the commune Party Committee issued a document to deploy the contest in March 2026, directing subordinate party cells, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and local socio-political organizations to step up dissemination and mobilize officials, party members, and residents to actively respond.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Sín Thầu commune Party Committee Pờ Mỳ Lế shared that the Standing Board of the commune Party Committee identified the contest not merely as an emulation movement but as a profound political activity. Consequently, the commune has focused on diverse dissemination methods, especially via mass media and social networks, while encouraging officials, party members, union members, association members, and the public to thoroughly study the themes and rules to participate with deep articles and sharp perspectives.

Implementing the plan of the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics regarding the 6th National Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party’s Ideological Foundation in 2026, the province issued its own plan and rules in March 2026, launching the first provincial-level contest.

Carrying the theme “Protecting the Party’s Ideological Foundation in the New Era of Development,” the contest centers on three main content groups, including steadfastness, supplementation, and development of the Party’s ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints across all fields of social life, as well as innovating the content and methods of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation associated with digital transformation and the “Strategy for Political and Ideological Work in the New Context.” On that basis, party committees, agencies, and units have proactively carried out extensive dissemination through flexible methods, such as integration into conferences and regular meetings alongside mass media and social networks.

According to the timeline, June 1, 2026, served as the final deadline for submitting entries to the provincial Contest Organizing Panel, and the announcement of results along with the provincial award ceremony will be organized before July 1, 2026, before dossiers are finalized for submission to the central level.

Launching the response to the Contest is an opportunity for every official, party member, and person from all walks of life to demonstrate bravery, wisdom, and responsibility in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation and defeating all subversive plots and tactics of hostile forces. Concurrently, it spreads official information, safe-guarding public trust in the Party and State, while enhancing solidarity and unity within the Party and social consensus.
