ĐBP - The 2026 military recruitment season introduces many new points as this is the first year the two-tier local government structure is officially in place. With the guiding principle “Whoever is recruited must be a sure candidate,” localities are implementing all stages of the recruitment process in a comprehensive and disciplined manner.

Alongside socio-economic goals, defense and security tasks remain crucial, ensuring public order while laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

ĐBP - As the entire Party, people, and armed forces look toward Party congresses at all levels, advancing to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation and remaining steadfast in revolutionary ideals carry special significance. This is not only a matter of principle but also a concrete action for every cadre, Party member, and especially youth union members to demonstrate political mettle, pioneering spirit, and firm defense of the people’s trust in the Party.

ĐBP - On the morning of September 20, Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, received Khamphao Ernthavanh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Vietnam, along with delegations from four northern Lao provinces: Phongsaly, Oudomxay, Luang Namtha, and Luang Prabang.

The Congress marks a pivotal milestone, raising new hopes for Điện Biên to advance boldly and sustainably in the era of integration.

In administrative reform, a field that directly serves citizens and businesses, applying AI helps improve public service delivery, enhance transparency, and accelerate the country’s digital transformation.

ĐBP - On September 19, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a nationwide online conference to disseminate the 2024 Archives Law and related guiding documents. Attending the conference at the Điện Biên bridge point was Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lò Văn Cương. The conference was also connected to commune and ward sites across the province.

ĐBP - The 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Điện Biên province (2025 - 2030) took place over two days (September 17 - 18).

ĐBP - In the course of restructuring and operating under the new two-tier local government model, Defensive Area Commands (DACs) have asserted their central role in ensuring local military and defense affairs. Beyond advising, organizing, and consolidating defense and security capacities, these units have directly accompanied Party committees, local authorities, and residents in responding to natural disasters, advancing digital governance, and safeguarding political stability and border security.

ĐBP - Although it has only been in operation for just over two months, the atmosphere at the Public Administration Service Center of Tuần Giáo commune, Điện Biên province has already become professional and vibrant. Every day, “one-stop” officers diligently receive and process administrative procedures, bringing satisfaction to residents and businesses in the area.
