Attending the conference were members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, members of the Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee, representatives of the leadership of the provincial People’s Council, the provincial People’s Committee, and the provincial National Assembly Delegation, alongside the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of various provincial boards, departments, and sectors, and leaders of communes and wards.
During the first six months of the year, party committees, authorities, and internal affairs block agencies focused on leading, directing, and effectively executing national defense and security tasks, firmly maintaining national security and territorial border sovereignty. The forces organized absolute safety protection for key targets, visiting delegations, Party and State leaders, and important political, economic, cultural, and foreign affairs activities across the province, with a particular highlight on guaranteeing security and safety for the 14th National Congress of the Party, the elections of the 16th National Assembly, and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure. Furthermore, they successfully fought and checked illegal religious activities, deployed crime and violation prevention measures, and continued to direct citizen reception, public dialogues, and the resolution of complaints, denunciations, and recommendations.
The province also stepped up propaganda and legal education regarding the prevention and control of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity. Authorities led and effectively deployed legal regulations on anti-corruption and thrift practice, enhanced openness and transparency, accelerated administrative procedure reforms, organized asset and income declarations, and promptly handled corruption cases within the locality. Concurrently, judicial reform received close guidance from the provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, and the People’s Committee, resulting in the consolidation and reorganization of local judicial apparatuses in line with central directives and vertical sectoral guidelines.
For the final six months of the year, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee outlined four core tasks, focusing on strengthening the leadership and direction of party committees at all levels over internal affairs, anti-corruption, and judicial reform. These tasks encompass national security protection and social order assurance, alongside executing corruption prevention solutions, detecting and handling corruption, wastefulness, and negativity, while implementing key assignments in judicial reform.
During the conference, delegates concentrated on discussing and evaluating the implementation results of internal affairs and anti-corruption work over the past period. They proposed comprehensive solutions to upgrade coordination efficiency, strengthen discipline and order, and proactively prevent, detect, and promptly handle violations, thereby contributing to preserving political stability and social order and safety.
Delivering his directive, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Lê Thành Đô requested party committees, party organizations, authorities, and internal affairs block agencies to continue thoroughly grasping and strictly executing central guidelines on internal affairs, anti-corruption, and judicial reform. He emphasized upgrading the quality of situation grasping and forecasting early on and from afar, while proactively identifying emerging risks to advise on handling measures right from the grassroots level to avoid being passive or caught by surprise in any situation, resolutely preventing the formation of security and order hot spots.
Internal affairs agencies must focus on fighting drastically against various types of crimes, particularly drug crimes, cyber fraud, economic crimes, corruption, and environmental violations, while simultaneously guaranteeing cyber security and information safety during the province’s digital transformation process.
Lê Thành Đô also urged units to perform citizen reception well, resolve complaints and denunciations right at the grassroots-level, and elevate the quality of investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment enforcement. He requested accelerated progress in handling monitored cases, strict penalties for acts of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity, and enhanced efficiency in asset recovery to ensure the strictness of the law and Party discipline. Finally, he stressed the application of information technology and digital transformation in judicial operations, case file management, and progress tracking, alongside strengthening discipline, order, and power control within internal affairs and judicial activities.
