The ceremony recalled the 80-year journey of construction and growth of Vietnam’s CJE sector, while looking back at the 33 years of formation and development of the sector in Điện Biên province. Throughout this process, the provincial CJE sector has continuously grown stronger, step-by-step upgrading the quality and efficiency of its work. The contingent of enforcement officers and civil servants has been increasingly consolidated in both quantity and quality, and the execution of annual targets and tasks has recorded numerous positive results.
Regarding operational milestones, from 1993 to the end of 2003, the two-level CJE agencies in the province completely executed over 14,700 cases, collecting nearly VND 32.5 billion. During the subsequent 2004-2008 phase, the entire sector successfully enforced over 10,000 cases, collecting over VND 35 billion. Furthermore, from 2009 to June 2025, local CJE agencies successfully handled more than 40,000 cases, collecting nearly VND 1,000 billion, while from July 1, 2025 to the present alone, the sector has resolved over 1,500 cases, collecting nearly VND 150 billion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lê Thành Đô acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the provincial CJE sector over the past period.
He requested the entire sector to continue promoting the 80-year tradition of construction and growth of Vietnam’s CJE, firmly maintain political mettle, and remain absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the People. He stressed the need to thoroughly grasp and effectively deploy resolutions and directives from the Government and the province regarding civil and administrative judgment enforcement work, while concentrating on upgrading work quality toward a substantive and sustainable direction.
He added that the sector must organize the timely and lawful enforcement of legally effective judgments and decisions, accelerate the progress of resolving cases eligible for enforcement, backlogged or prolonged cases, and complex matters of public concern, while continuing to build a clean, strong, upright, and people-centered contingent of enforcement officers and civil servants.
On this occasion, the Minister of Justice awarded Certificates of Merit to one collective and three individuals with outstanding achievements in performing tasks and emulation movements.
