ĐBP - Implementing preferential policies for national contributors, recently, party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in Điện Biên province have actively led, directed, and deployed the gratitude movement; helping and creating conditions for national contributors and their families to develop economically, eliminate hunger, and reduce poverty.

ĐBP - To promote administrative reform associated with building a serving government, Na Sang commune has deployed mobile reception of administrative procedures to help people in villages far from the center easily perform necessary procedures. Thereby shortening the distance between the government and the people, contributing to improving the validity and efficiency of State management and creating consensus in the community.

ĐBP - Huổi Ho village, Mường Pồn commune is the living place of 44 Hmong ethnic households, with nearly 350 people. Previously, many backward customs existed in the village such as child marriage, consanguineous marriage, and girls having to leave school early to stay home for chores, babysitting, and getting married.

ĐBP - As the primary healthcare line closest to the people, the health sector has continuously improved the quality of medical examination and treatment, strengthening investment in facilities and equipment for the grassroots level. In particular, improving the capacity of commune health workers is identified as a key task to meet the healthcare requirements of the people, especially in remote, isolated, and ethnic minority communes.

ĐBP - In recent years, the Party and State have implemented many programs and projects to strengthen gender equality in all fields, especially in ethnic minority and highland areas where many difficulties remain.

ĐBP - In recent years, alongside socio-economic development, education in the province has received sustained attention, investment, and comprehensive reform. By building on internal strengths, overcoming difficulties, and mobilizing support from authorities at all levels and the wider community, schools across the province have made concerted efforts to steadily improve teaching and learning quality, laying a solid foundation for developing a system of schools that meet national standards in the new phase.

ĐBP - In recent years, Điện Biên province has determined that population is both a goal and a driving force for development; having a direct, long-term impact on economic growth, ensuring social security, and national defense - security.

ĐBP - Điện Biên province currently has 208,222 children under 16 years old, accounting for 31.2% of the population. Of these, 6,847 children are in special circumstances and approximately 68,000 children are at risk of falling into special circumstances, mainly children of poor and near-poor households living in deep-lying and remote areas.

ĐBP - Identifying vocational training for rural laborers as a key task, recently, Điện Biên province has implemented many support and vocational training programs suitable for the practical conditions of each area.

ĐBP - Điện Biên province created jobs for over 9,400 workers in 2025, in which agricultural, freelance, and seasonal workers account for a large proportion; therefore, the work of ensuring occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) becomes increasingly urgent.

ĐBP - With over 5,600 workers equipped with knowledge and skills on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH), 100% of agencies and units integrating OSH content into their work programs along with many inspections and supervision sessions focused on high-risk areas, in 2025 Điện Biên province recorded clear effectiveness in ensuring OSH, contributing to protecting workers and stabilizing production and business activities.

ĐBP - In the context of digital transformation and the information explosion in cyberspace, youths are considered the force that accesses technology fastest, while also being directly affected by the downsides of the digital environment.

ĐBP - Recently, the Điện Biên provincial Women’s Union has promoted dissemination, raised awareness, and equipped women with digital skills; simultaneously replicating safe support models and mobilizing the participation of families and the community in implementing gender equality.
