Provincial Party Secretary extends Tết greetings to units and policy beneficiary families

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết), on the morning of January 21, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, took a visit and extended greetings to the Điện Biên provincial Police Department; the Northwestern Mobile Police Regiment; the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Điện Biên Province; and war invalids, policy beneficiary families in Điện Biên Phủ City.

Accompanying him were leaders of Điện Biên Phủ City, as well as representatives from provincial departments, agencies, and organizations.

During visits to the Điện Biên Provincial Police Department and the Northwestern Mobile Police Regiment, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường and his delegation have been informed about their achievements during the year of 2024 in terms of security situation, combat readiness, and preparations for the Tết for officers, soldiers, and local residents.

The provincial Party Secretary recognized and praised for their accomplishments over the past year. On the occasion of the new spring, he extended his best wishes to the officers and soldiers, encouraging them to celebrate the 2025 Tết with joy while fulfilling all assigned tasks. He also expressed his hope that they would build on their successes, actively prepare for combat readiness during the Tết holiday, and join hands with local authorities and organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of officers, soldiers, and residents. He emphasized the importance of vigilance, maintaining on-call readiness, and ensuring social order and security before, during, and after the national traditional holiday.

During his visit to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Điện Biên Province, he extended his New Year greetings, wishing the executive board and all monks, nuns, and Buddhists a peaceful and joyful New Year. He hopes that the executive board’s members, as well as monks, nuns, and followers, would actively participate in socio-economic development activities, contribute to the province’s overall progress, and foster the great national unity bloc.

Mr. Trần Quốc Cường also took a visit to the family of Mr. Hoàng Văn Cừ, son of martyr Hoàng Văn Loãn, in Residential Group 1, and the family of Mr. Đỗ Văn Khôi, a war invalid, in Residential Group 9, Mường Thanh Ward, Điện Biên Phủ City. He kindly inquired after their health situation and wished them a joyful and happy New Year. He expressed deep gratitude for the contribution of policy beneficiary families and war veterans to the cause of national liberation and unification. He encouraged them to continue promoting their revolutionary traditions, contributing to the development of Điện Biên Province, and serving as role models for younger generations to follow.
