Mr. Mùa A Sơn extends Tết greetings to local armed forces and policy beneficiaries in Điện Biên Phủ City

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday, on the morning of January 20, a delegation from the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên Province, led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Mùa A Sơn, visited and extended greetings to several agencies, units, and policy beneficiaries in Điện Biên Phủ City.

While visiting and extending wishes to officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command and the Traffic Police Division of the provincial Police Department, Mr. Mùa A Sơn expressed his joy over the units’ efforts and achievements in various areas of work, which have contributed significantly to the province's overall accomplishments in 2024.

The official encouraged the officers and soldiers to build upon these results, effectively implement their assigned tasks, maintain readiness for combat duty, and strengthen the political foundation at the grassroots level. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of discipline and responsibility to ensure all officers and soldiers fulfill their duties effectively, contributing to the successful completion of all missions entrusted by the Party and State.

During his visit to the provincial Radio and Television, Mr. Mùa A Sơn praised its efforts in innovating contents, noting that its significant contributions in communicating the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, and reflecting timely activities, events, and public aspirations.

Looking ahead to 2025, a year filled with critical political, economic, and socio-cultural events for both the country and the province, Mr. Mùa A Sơn urged the leadership, reporters, and editors of the provincial Radio and Television to closely follow the province’s policies and directives, consistently innovate contents, and enhance the quality of broadcasting programs to better serve audiences while fulfilling the province’s political missions.

During his visit to policy beneficiaries in Thanh Bình Ward (Điện Biên Phủ City), including Mr. Đoàn Văn Thìn (born 1950), a 25% disabled veteran and Agent Orange/dioxin victim; Mr. Liêu Chí Khoa (born 1949), a 54% disabled veteran; Mr. Vũ Khắc Man (born 1932), a Điện Biên soldier and 70-year Party member; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Mạc (born 1930), a Điện Biên soldier; and the family of Mr. Giàng A Páo, former Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Mùa A Sơn expressed his deep gratitude for their contribution and sacrifices to the revolutionary cause.

He encouraged these families to uphold their patriotic traditions, overcome current challenges, and serve as exemplary role models for their families and the community, contributing to the development of their homeland and nation.
