Job consultation and job introduction for residents

ĐBP - Na Sang commune currently has more than 19,100 inhabitants, with the population distributed unevenly across the area. Within the commune, 13 ethnic groups live together, which creates cultural diversity but also poses many challenges for socio-economic development.

Due to natural conditions and high mountainous terrain, agricultural production remains limited. Consequently, the rate of poor and near-poor households in Na Sang commune remains high, accounting for 40.97%.

Presently, the entire commune has 10,581 people of working age, which represents 55.2% of the population. However, the majority of the labor force works in agriculture, which lacks stability and provides inconsistent income across different seasons. A portion of the young workforce does not have a specific profession, lacks information about the labor market, and maintains a hesitant mindset regarding working far from home.

Facing that reality, Na Sang commune has identified consulting and job introduction work as an important solution to resolve employment, increase income, and step-by-step reduce poverty sustainably. Through village meetings, activities of mass organizations, and dissemination within residential communities, the commune authorities have proactively provided information about recruitment needs, occupations, and working conditions. This helps residents better understand the benefits of participating in labor at enterprises and industrial parks outside the province.

In 2025, the entire Na Sang commune had over 800 workers going to work at enterprises and industrial parks outside the province, which is a significant increase compared to previous years. Notably, 436 of these workers went to work in an organized manner under the counseling, orientation, and management of the local government. Working in an organized way helps laborers access full information regarding the job, salary levels, benefits, and living conditions, thereby limiting spontaneous labor, reducing risks, and ensuring legitimate rights.

To achieve the above results, the Na Sang commune authorities have implemented many specific and synchronous solutions. The commune People’s Committee proactively coordinates with the Employment Service Center under the Department of Home Affairs as well as enterprises and recruitment companies inside and outside the province to grasp labor demands. The commune organizes vocational counseling and orientation for residents, focusing on occupations suitable for the level and conditions of the laborers, such as garment workers, electronic assembly, agricultural product processing, construction, and several service industries.

Simultaneously, the authorities create conditions for workers to participate in job transaction sessions and job fairs. They also support workers in completing dossiers and connecting directly with businesses for local recruitment, which helps people feel secure when working in an organized manner. Practice shows that many workers have stable incomes and their lives have gradually improved after being consulted and introduced to jobs.

Sìn Văn Chấn in Hin village shared that his family previously relied only on upland farming, which resulted in a low income and a very difficult life. After being consulted and introduced to a job by the commune, he registered to work at an enterprise outside the province, and his life has become more stable. Similarly, Vừ A Chu from Hồ Chim 2 village stated that after receiving job counseling from the authorities, he completed his dossier to work as a worker at an electronic component manufacturing enterprise in Bắc Ninh. He now earns an average income ranging from VND 8 to 9 million per month, which is higher than upland farming production in the local area, and the life of his family is increasingly improving.

Evaluating the consulting and job creation work for local laborers, Nguyễn Võ Nam, who serves as the Vice Chairman of the Na Sang commune People’s Committee, said that in conditions where the rate of poor and near-poor households in the commune is still high, promoting job consulting and introduction for local workers is a direction consistent with reality. In the coming time, the commune will continue to increase dissemination and mobilization of residents, especially young workers, to work in an organized manner while creating favorable conditions for laborers to access labor market information.

Reality shows that consulting and job introduction work has been helping the laborers of Na Sang commune have more opportunities for stable jobs and improved incomes. At the same time, it contributes to shifting the labor structure, changing production mindsets, and step-by-step improving the lives of the people while promoting local socio-economic development.
