This meaningful program was part of a series of activities aimed at supporting the Federation’s needy members and workers during the Tết holiday, which have been maintained by labor unions at all levels in the province over the past years.

The initiative demonstrates solidarity and timely care, ensuring workers enjoy the traditional holiday while spreading the spirit of unity and sharing under the message “No one is left behind” within the society at large.

This year, the Điện Biên Provincial Labor Federation allocated nearly VNĐ 56 million to support 100 members and workers in difficult circumstances, many of whom had not returned home for Tết in years, by providing free bus tickets.

Directly presenting gifts and financial support for bus tickets to the recipients, Mr. Tẩn Minh Long, Chairman of the Điện Biên Provincial Labor Federation, personally inquired after their situations and extended warm Tết greetings to them and their families. He expressed hope that their journey home would be joyful and heartwarming, bringing family reunions and happiness.

At the same time, Mr. Tẩn Minh Long emphasized that this support would serve as a source of motivation to help workers overcome current difficulties and fulfill their duties effectively.

Acknowledging the significance of this program, Mr. Tẩn Minh Long also expressed his delight at the development of the program each year, encouraging local organizations and businesses to continue supporting this good deed in the time to come, providing further assistance to workers residing and working in the province.
