Accompanying the delegation were provincial leaders, including Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Mùa A Sơn, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and Mr. Mùa A Vảng, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên Province.
The delegation received a briefing from Tủa Chùa District’s leaders on efforts to support policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, and disadvantaged households during the 2025 Lunar New Year.
As reported, the district is currently providing regular allowances to 31 revolutionary contributors and 3,846 individuals receiving monthly social welfare benefits. Gifts from organizations, units, and individuals to policy beneficiary families and social welfare groups have been distributed promptly and in accordance with regulations. The district also allocated over 40 tons of rice to support 639 households and provided 1,070 gifts to children with special needs, disabilities, and orphans for the upcoming Tết celebration.
Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn commended and acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee and authorities in Tủa Chùa District in implementing social welfare programs. Extending his best Tết wishes to policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors, disadvantaged households, workers, and laborers, he urged the local Party Committee and authorities to uphold their leadership role, focus more on supporting vulnerable groups, and organize vibrant activities to celebrate the Tết holiday. These efforts aim to foster a festive atmosphere among local people and demonstrate the care of the Party and State, not only in material support but also in uplifting the spirit of the community.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn presented 30 gifts to local policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged households. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also provided 100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged workers and laborers in Tủa Chùa District.
