Comrade Trần Tiến Dũng, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, was elected to the position of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

This makes the province a key area where hostile and reactionary forces often exploit ethnic and religious issues, cyberspace, or difficult living conditions to entice and incite people to violate the law. In addition, crimes related to drugs, human trafficking, high-tech fraud, and illegal immigration are developing in a complex manner, putting great pressure on the work of ensuring security and social order in the area.

From lowland villages to remote border areas, from Điện Biên soldiers to local youth, everyone followed the proceedings closely, placing their trust in the Congress to chart a new path of progress for Điện Biên.

ĐBP - This morning (October 15), at the provincial Conference and Culture Center, the 15th Congress of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term was solemnly opened with the participation of 358 official delegates representing over 49,000 Party members, symbolizing the will, wisdom, and strength of unity of the entire Party Committee.

ĐBP - The flash floods and landslides that struck in early August caused severe damage to housing and vital infrastructure, including schools, water supply systems, and irrigation works. In response, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee promptly allocated recovery funds and directed relevant departments and units to coordinate with local authorities to implement resettlement projects, repair works, and infrastructure restoration.

ĐBP - The movement to study and follow the ideology, morality, and style of President Hồ Chí Minh has become a regular practice deeply rooted across the Party and among the people of Điện Biên province.
