Temporary suspension of certain administrative tasks across Điện Biên province

ĐBP - The People’s Committee of Điện Biên province has issued Official Document No.1269/UBND-KT dated March 31, 2025, regarding the temporary suspension of certain tasks and administrative procedures at various levels within the province.

This directive follows the instructions outlined in Official Document No. 618/BNV-CQĐP dated March 23, 2025, from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Specifically, the following tasks will be suspended until further notice from the relevant authorities:

The development and submission of proposals for the restructuring and establishment of district- and commune-level administrative units, as stipulated in Resolutions No.1211/2016/UBTVQH13, No.27/2022/UBTVQH15, and No.35/2023/UBTVQH15 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.

The classification of administrative units at all levels.

The appraisal, acceptance, and verification of dossiers and boundary maps for administrative units at all levels (Project 513), as well as the development, revision, and supplementation of such dossiers and maps for the 2023-2025 period.

The development of the comprehensive planning component for district- and commune-level administrative units, covering the period up to 2030 with a vision toward 2045, as mandated by Official Document No.8657/BNV-CQĐP dated December 31, 2024, from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Relevant agencies and units, including the provincial Department of Home Affairs and the People’s Committees of districts, towns, and cities, are required to comply with this directive and suspend the aforementioned tasks until further notice.
