Điện Biên leader presents Party membership badge and extends Tết wishes in Điện Biên Phủ City

ĐBP - On January 20, a delegation led by Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee handed over Party membership badge and visited, presented gifts, and extended Tết greetings to policy beneficiaries and war veterans in Điện Biên Phủ City.

Accompanying the delegation were leaders from various provincial departments and agencies.

At the ceremony, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường presented the 75-year Party membership badge to Party member Phan Văn Hảo from Residential Quarter 15, Him Lam Ward, Điện Biên Phủ City. Speaking at the event, the official congratulated Party member Phan Văn Hảo, expressing his hope that the recipient would continue to set an example, uphold and promote revolutionary ethics and good virtues of a Party member, remain absolutely loyal to the Party, and serve as a model in fulfilling the Party’s assigned tasks.

At the same time, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường encouraged Party member Phan Văn Hảo to further educate the younger generation about the revolutionary tradition and motivate family members to abide by the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, contributing to the development of the city.

Paying respects to and honoring late Lò Văn Puốn, former Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường expressed deep gratitude for Mr. Lò Văn Puốn’s immense contribution to the construction and development of Điện Biên Province. He also inquired after the well-being of Lò Văn Puốn’s family, offering Tết wishes for health and prosperity while encouraging the family to continue their revolutionary legacy and contribute to the province’s growth.

During his visit to the family of war veteran Nguyễn Hữu Chấp, a former soldier of the Điện Biên Phủ Campaign 1954, residing in Residential Quarter 20, Him Lam Ward, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường inquired after the family’s health and livelihood. He expressed deep gratitude for war veteran Nguyễn Hữu Chấp’s contribution to and those of other heroes, martyrs, and war invalids in the cause of national liberation and unification. He encouraged the family to further bring into play their revolutionary tradition, actively engage in production, and set a positive example for future generations. He also extended heartfelt greetings for a joyful and prosperous Tết celebration.

On this occasion, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường urged local Party committees and authorities to continue fostering the gratitude movement by providing material and spiritual care, addressing the needs and aspirations of policy beneficiary families, and improving livin standards for war veterans and their families.
