In Nậm Pồ district, preparations for the exam have been carried out with full dedication. Nguyễn Hữu Đại, Vice Chairman of the Nậm Pồ district People’s Committee, shared: “We’ve held numerous coordination meetings with relevant agencies to ensure everything is on track. Even as departments near the end of their operations, all units have remained fully committed, there has been no sign of negligence. The “exam support program” offering free meals for candidates during the exam days will continue as planned.”
This year, Nậm Pồ has 531 students registered at three exam sites: Nậm Pồ High School, Nậm Pồ Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities, and Chà Cang High School. Local authorities have instructed the district health center to assign three on-site medical staff per exam location to handle any emergencies. Local police have drawn up comprehensive security plans, and telecommunications, electricity, and environment agencies have been given clear responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.

Notably, the district’s Youth Union, in collaboration with the Sub-department of Education and Training as well as various social-political organizations, is leading the “2025 exam support campaign” to assist students. They’ve mobilized local organizations and philanthropists to raise over VND 100 million, which will go toward preparing and distributing free meals and water for all test-takers through volunteer teams. “With strong preparation and a high sense of responsibility from the entire political system, Nậm Pồ is fully ready to deliver a safe, serious, and regulation-compliant exam”, said Vice Chairman Nguyễn Hữu Đại.
Youth volunteers continue to play a vital role each exam season. Despite the upcoming restructuring that will see the provincial youth union integrated into the Vietnam Fatherland Front and lower-level unions dissolved to form new grassroots units, local youth branches are still actively planning and executing support programs before, during, and after the exam. Kháng Mai Thu, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, said: “District and municipal youth unions, along with affiliated groups, are taking part as usual. We’ve developed localized plans for the “2025 exam support program”, set up channels to collect student support requests, partnered with schools to form volunteer teams, trained participants, and assigned tasks accordingly.”
In tandem, these organizations have been fundraising to provide early support for disadvantaged students, especially those in remote areas or with disabilities. Support includes meals, drinks, school supplies, and even free transportation to and from exam centers.
Across the province, departments, district-level authorities, and other stakeholders are implementing the action plans assigned by the provincial exam steering Committee. The Department of Education and Training has coordinated with relevant agencies to ensure all logistical needs are met. Provincial police have detailed plans to ensure security and safety. The Department of Finance has allocated sufficient funding. The Department of Health has developed plans for candidate and staff health protection. The Department of Construction has arranged traffic flow plans for before, during, and after the exam. The Điện Biên Power Company has assigned on-call staff to respond to outages and ensure uninterrupted power.
The 2025 national high school graduation exam will take place from June 25-28: June 25: registration and procedures, June 26-27: official exam days, June 28: backup day. With 7,641 students registered province-wide, every sector of the political and civil system is mobilized to ensure a smooth and successful exam experience.
