ĐBP - Following the adoption of the two-tier local government model, the expansion of commune boundaries has left many highland villages far from commune centers, while transport infrastructure remains fragmented and underdeveloped, hindering mobility and socio-economic growth. Against this backdrop, for the 2025-2030 term, Điện Biên province has identified the prioritization of resources for completing and upgrading transport infrastructure, particularly at the grassroots level, as a key breakthrough to drive development.

ĐBP - Recently, Party committees and authorities at all levels in Điện Biên province have proactively innovated leadership and executive methods, strengthening dialogue and direct contact with the people and businesses. Thereby, timely grasping thoughts and aspirations, removing bottlenecks to accelerate the progress of works and projects in the area.

ĐBP - Identifying transportation infrastructure development as a strategic breakthrough, in recent years, Điện Biên province has focused on prioritizing investment resources in a synchronous direction, step-by-step removing connectivity “bottlenecks.”

ĐBP - In recent years, the number of wildlife farming facilities for commercial purposes in the provincial area has been increasing. Strict management, preventing the abuse of transforming into illegal wildlife trading activities while still creating favorable conditions for people, is being actively implemented by functional sectors.

ĐBP - The 2025 - 2026 winter-spring crop is forecast to take place under weather conditions with many adverse factors, with a risk of prolonged severe cold and damaging cold spells accompanied by frost and ice.

ĐBP - Today, with just a few taps on a smartphone, people can pay electricity bills, shop online, submit administrative fees, or pay for public services without having to visit transaction counters. These changes in payment methods are the result of the development and growing maturity of the digital technology enterprise community in Điện Biên province.

ĐBP - In the final months of the year, the consumption demand for vegetables, tubers, and fruits in the province increases sharply, especially during the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday. To meet consumer demand, currently in concentrated production areas, farmers and cooperatives are urgently sowing vegetables, expanding areas, diversifying varieties, and applying safe production processes.

ĐBP - Stretching lush green forests, improved ecological environment, and the lives of highland people are better off thanks to their attachment to the forest. Everyone sees the benefits brought by the forest and voluntarily joins hands with the community to take care of, protect, and develop the forest.
