ĐBP - Nestled quietly beside the Nậm Rốm River, the stilt houses of the Thái ethnic people in the Lường clan line stand united and prosperous. For many years, this clan has been a shining example in maintaining peace and security at the gateway to Điện Biên Phủ city.

ĐBP - In modern life, many people have become accustomed to the fast pace of daily routines, leaving family members with little time for each other. Therefore, family meals hold significant importance, not only as a beautiful traditional cultural practice but also as an opportunity for family members to gather, bond, and share joys and sorrows together.

ĐBP - Despite being the headwaters of many rivers and streams, numerous villages and communes in the highlands of Điện Biên still face a shortage of clean water for daily use. In response to the urgent need for clean water in these areas, the province has implemented a range of initiatives in recent years to bring safe water closer to residents.

ĐBP - After much consideration and planning to align with the province’s development needs, the proposal to establish Điện Biên College is being developed with the goal of merging two vocational education institutions: Điện Biên Vocational College and Điện Biên College of Economics and Techniques, into a single entity named Điện Biên College. This summer, the library is an ideal spot, attracting a large number of young readers, embarking on adventures through the pages of books.

ĐBP - The development of information technology has opened up many opportunities for accessing knowledge, helping children actively explore new information, expand their thinking, and foster creativity. However, the internet and social media also pose many risks and negative effects if children are exposed to them frequently without proper guidance from adults.

ĐBP - Water is an essential resource, closely tied to life and the sustainable development of humanity. Amid the increasingly complex and unpredictable climate change, water resources are facing significant challenges: Prolonged droughts, unusual rains, floods, depletion of surface and groundwater, directly affecting the lives, production, and health of local people.

ĐBP - In order to improve the living standards of its people, Mường Nhé district (Điện Biên province, Vietnam) has strengthened its cooperation with Jiangcheng district (Yunnan province, China), fostering job opportunities for local workers. The proactive approach of surveying, discussing, and formalizing the contents of the labor cooperation memorandum between the two regions has created sustainable employment opportunities for people in border areas of Mường Nhé.

ĐBP - In recent times, street racing within urban areas, loud motorcycle revving, and the reckless stunts such as weaving in and out of traffic, sometimes even involving weapons by some youth, have caused widespread concern among road users and public discontent.

ĐBP - In addition to improving the quality of education, educational institutions in Tuần Giáo district, Điện Biên province have also pioneered the use of environmentally friendly building materials, particularly compressed earth bricks.

ĐBP - Climate change is becoming increasingly complex, with extreme weather phenomena such as droughts, floods, and landslides directly affecting the environment and human health. However, the causes of environmental pollution and the increase in climate change have yet to be addressed comprehensively. It is high time we could no longer remain indifferent to the environment.

ĐBP - In the context of Tuần Giáo district, Điện Biên province facing many challenges in its schools, the collaboration between the Sub-department of Education and Training and the 1+1>2 International Architecture and Construction Joint Stock Company has opened a new, sustainable, and highly humanitarian direction. This partnership not only helps eliminate temporary classrooms but also creates a learning environment that is friendly to nature and closely connected to the community.

ĐBP - In the midst of strong footsteps on the training ground, a small yet powerful figure stands out, radiating strength and decisiveness. That figure is Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh, an officer in the Training and Advisory Team, Deputy Chairperson of the Women’s Union of the Mobile Police Division, and a typical example of a female police officer in the new era: resilient, strong-willed, compassionate, and always burning with the desire to contribute.

ĐBP - Traditional stilt houses, with their wooden pillars, floors, and walls, are inherently susceptible to fire due to the flammable nature of their construction materials. This structural vulnerability has made fire safety a growing concern, particularly in regions where these homes remain common. In Điện Biên province, recent years have seen several unfortunate fire incidents involving these traditional dwellings.

ĐBP - In efforts to improve teaching and learning conditions in disadvantaged areas, educational institutions in Tuần Giáo district, Điện Biên province have proactively mobilized social resources and harnessed the strength of local communities to build environmentally friendly school facilities. This approach not only helps save costs and is suitable for the local conditions but also contributes to environmental protection, providing durable, sustainable, and eco-friendly schools for students in remote areas.
